  • Bought this at walmart for $17 today. :)

  • Nice video...I did however get my Buck paclite WITH the black coating for $17 and some change...

  • i got this knife from academy for 22$ with tax and it came super sharp and i really like the way this knife is made awesome for skinning and i should of got the caper knife as well i have the black one :)

  • Ahahjajajaja . So scared. I got me one of these things taking it with me tomorrow hiking and it seems awesome. My pants won't fall down because it is a so light fixed blade.

  • Just bought the coated one 140bk. Great little knife. The Walmart one is a bigger knife (model 143). Your right I love my Izula but you can not beat the price of this one, And it's made in the U.S.

  • i hate it when it takes ppl 59 seconds to open the knife... btw i gave one and its my fav knife

  • Just throwing this out there... The black DLC coated Buck Packlite is sold for for $17 at Wal-Mart and you can find them online for as low as $12. Same knife, same sheath, same steel. $20 is still a decent value for what you're getting with this knife but you can find the non-coated versions for $6-$8 if you look hard enough

  • @blackroses4her - thanks for giving the heads up on some prices and places.

  • i know what you mean, my girlfriend got me one and the buckle is already beginning to fall off from me taking the knife out, im looking in to getting a new leather sheath

  • Im playing wih the idea of getting some Krylon spray on bed liner and hitting it with that. I know that stuff is rough to the touch. It could be some oil on the surface also. I have it settin in some cat litter and paper towels now to get as much moisture away from it as possible to see if that helps

  • good review and nice talking points

  • I have the black one, its an ok finish. Not exactly made for traction, it is fairly slick I think. The other model they have is the Caper, made for finer work on animal skinning.

  • @knifeguy1256 - ahh bummer. I would've hoped it had more traction. I guess it's no biggie though.

  • would u reccomend this for squirrel skinning and gutting?

  • @kornphr34k - I have no experience cleaning game, but it is comfortable and would prolly work well.

  • @kornphr34k for squirrel and small game preperation i would recommend the caper style or another thinnder, smaller knife as big wide knife will make small game preparing hard. this knife is desinged for larger game like deer and boar.

  • Thanks so much for your review!!! Since you have both the Becker Necker and the Buck Paklite, it would be pretty cool to see a head-to-head comparison video :-) !!!!

  • @Originalfmajor007 I def would've compared them, but I traded the Becker a while back.

  • @Severator Interesting..... Have you found the PakLite to satisfy what you need in that type of blade? I just bought one NIB last nite for $14.50 and am pretty stoked to get it. Do you have anything on it in "field use"?

  • @Originalfmajor007 - I have only used it in the kitchen and as an edc, but no hard or extended use so far.

  • couldn't that be a neck knife? i

  • @tdcollector - heck yah, just needs some kydex .

  • @Severator buck knives are great. but they are made in china :(

  • @tdcollector - these paklites are made in the USA tho.

  • @tdcollector a whole lot of Bucks are USA knives

  • I made a Folding knife with mine.

  • Very cool.

  • U gotta luv buck.

  • that thing is begging for some cord wrappage!

  • Is the hole directly behind the blade a wrench?

  • @AlexanderEddy- that would be cool, but its just a regular ole hole.
