I'm really sorry about your dog! :( It's nice that you found a way to distract yourself because it's so easy to let grief overtake you and get angry. I have a weird way of dealing with sadness! xD I tend to do the obvious crying but that's why I'm watching old childrens' programmes from the 90s. lol.

hey, i just honestly wanted to thank you for this video, i had a puppy that we'd had for 6 months who i let get hit by a car and i, completely like you, just couldn't sit at home and stew, or be around where i had seen him so much, i had to go to school and try and be a little bit normal and proactive. I had to give my second dog away when he was 5 for various reasons and i miss him every day, some people don't seem to understand how much they can mean to you, as much as a best friend, thankyoux

I'm not saying at all that I'm glad your dog died, but today I found out my old geezer of a dog's been acting off and it's about his time to go too. I've been sitting around all day wondering what I'll do with myself when it happens and letting myself get sadder and sadder when it hasn't even happened yet. This really helped me out, and I think I'm a little more prepared now. Thanks for being awesome. <3
@LucyEmber I'm sorry =[ Even though this waiting stage sucks, it is helpful to have some preparation time. Try to be comforted by the fact that your dog won't be in pain anymore (even though I know that doesn't make it much easier on you). Good luck, and I'm glad you feel a little better now <3
The day my mom texted me that they had to put our dog down I was waiting for my friends in front of the cinema. It was good distraction and I knew it was coming for a long time.
*sigh*
On a lighter note: I will stalk you on twitter form now on. :)
i hope you feel better. when my rabbit died 7 months ago, i stewed in it, probably for too long. after about a week i vowed never to eat meat again and went on with my life.
