i have no idea, sorry man, but ammonium nitrate can be found in some fertilizers

thank you anyway
what is ammonium chloride? normal table salt? or isnt that sodium chloride?!

@megafeltch its a selfsustaining reaction requiring both ammonium and nitrate so in theory that would be all that works

how hot does it burn?

not sure, i mean it would burn your skin
could i use NaCl instead ofNH4Cl?

umm, im not sure
as soon as i get some Zn ill try to remember to let you know of my results.
yeah alright, id like to know if it would work
It will be a while before i get the Zn, but i just did a little research and any cloride should work, NaCl should actuly react a little moer violently due to sodium's reactivity.
ok cool, ill have to try it with that to
yes
the glass was ruined, we couldnt clean it off.
we got the ammonium chloride from school but im sure if you do some research, you can probably find it in household items
about the glas, was it just ash or was it difficult to clean out afterwards?
anyway ammonium chloride?, is it hard to get?
