just to let everyone know, i personaly know both the men in this video, they are both champions in the sport and train bjj pan am champions. Thadeu Vierra and Charles dos Anjos. This move is obviously a demonstration technique. Only for show like what they do in kung fu movies
Huge flaw in this move... if your the defender in this position, all you would have to do is shift your upper body forward (leaning forward) and he'll fall right off, you can easily throw him lol or slam
I wouldn't do a flying armbar in this manner because being that high up in the air isn't my cup of tea because if they guy accidently falls backward you could be slammed
youre right, but when taking judo, wrestling and any other martial art for that matter, you learn alot of techniques that you will probably never ever use. BUT if ever you do need to pull it out of your trick bag its better to have learned a seemingly useless move then to not have. This one however i cant see myself ever using haha
This will only work in a real fight you catch the guy off guard and snap his arm while he's againts the wall. thats a very dangerous move, for him and yourself.
The only way this could work is if who ever is on the receiving end can't keep his head and focuses on the fact that his arm could be broken rather than getting him off. He could have just dropped the guys ass.
ridiculous comment by a WoW Expert... I'm sure you know a lot about critical strikes, buffs and all that... but you have obviously no idea of (mixed) martial arts
So basically what you're saying is that you're a fucking moron? Try this shit in a real fight, cocksucker. See where it gets your bitch ass against anyone who isn't stoned out of their mind. Faggot ass cunt.
What is a real fight - I train mixed martial arts, is a tournament a "real fight"? Or does "real fight" mean fightin somebody on the street? I have heard it is a crime to fight + no one ever attacked me since I started Boxing at the age of 14. Now I learn wrestling, muay thai and jiujitsu as well - not to attack, not to defend ITS A SPORT I'm a man with honor not a bandit ok?!? I admit did that once, a guy attacked a girl in the street --> 1 punch he went down, no juji gatame needed...
Everyone on the internet once saved a girl with one punch. And a real fight is obviously not a cute little circle, square, octagon or otherwise with rules on how and where you can hit people.
Just type in "juji gatame" u will see at least 2 mma events and quite some train fights, were the opponent is submitted by the "flying armbar" actually known as juji gatame. Good luck in future
A real fight is normally a lot weaker than an MMA fight. You have most of the time unexperienced angry tards that can be put EASILY into the most basic of techniques. A real fight requires "real" people. Real people whom which are normally unexperienced and wouldn't last a second in the "octagon"
Yeah the next time i let a guy jump on my leg and use me as a stand, then let him grab my arm, and then hold his heavy ass up while he breaks my arm, ill let you dumb fucks know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@220diego ur comment is 2yrs old but if you are still looking for someone in florida , Roberto "cyborg" abreu has a gym in florida....not sure what part but i think miami.

everyone knows this isn't a practical move but it's simply a gorgeous technique that should be learned just for showing off
trooperdz 1 year ago
when you break the guys arm brace your self for impact as he is going down after his arm is broken
just make sure you land on him with your knees when you go down with him

i remember when this happened in UFC and the guy just fell foward and slammed the other guys head against the floor. i watched it like 6 times over.

that guy swings his arm and the instructor dies
zhengzhang123 2 years ago
He can't swing his arm, it's being hyperextended

They're not being serious. Flying armbars work, but this particular version is meant for shits and giggles.
