You certainly make the most of the Viscount and the 13 pedals. I was reading your short bio about your career as a church musician. You certainly are a capable organist. Why did you stop. I hope it wasn't because of illness, or crazy church politics. Thanks if you wish to share the information. If not, I understand.
Thanks for your quick respose. I have an Allen 1000. She is getting tired as it's beginning to cost me a visit from the repair man more frequent. Again Thanks
U cannot imagine how many stories in the bible were used in spiritual warfare when she was in the ICU for 2 1/2 months. He is the same yesterday, today and ever. Amen, u are blessed with insight. I am writing everything for my book. Even the ppl that God used are also writing their testimonies. U really understand awesome.
Lance, I enjoy your videos regularly and am so pleased at the wide range you make available. Thank you for recognizing that people find inspiration in so many different ways, and there is truly something here for all. Assuming that it could be done, would it be an infringement/violation to record a video for a somewhat disabled person who can no longer attend service regularly?
Thank you again for all the beautiful moments you pprovide.
Do you have By Cool Siloams' Shady Rill in your repertoire Lance? It was used as a baptismal hymn in my Presbyterian church and brings back lovely memories of when my daughters were christened. I love listening to you especially the old gospel hymns. At the moment Whiter than snow is pipped to the post by Whispering Hope which is my favourite of all - so far. God Bless.
@hymnlover1 "By Cool Siloam's Shady Rill" is a beautiful Hymn, sung to the Tune, "Belmont." It's a wonderful Baptismal Hymn but the words seem to take us through the changing scenes of Life, culminating in "In Childhood, Manhood, Age and Death, to keep us still Thine own." It's also lovely for a funeral and I sung it at an old lady's Service here in Aberdeen, Scotland, only 2 days ago. God bless. Charlie.
Thank you for beautiful organ playing. Thank you and God bless you too, for all the great hymns we all know. I also especially like your Elgar Pomp and Circumstance March.
I want to go to bed but I keep listening to the great music you play. I hope you know youre the cause of me being tired at work tomorrow! :-) Keep up the good work!
It is in the Worship Hymnal, Hymn # 308 Lifeway Worship, Nashville, Tennessee Copyright 2008. I imagine you can order the Hymnal from their website, but not sure.
Is that a Viscount that you are playing? the console looks very familiar & i think one I have played previously years ago,a good friend of mine was the owner and director of the company till he retired recently,i am also an accomplished player myself
I mention the Organ on my Profile page and yes it is a Viscount Model 20, very small without a full pedal board, a challenge to play gracefully at times.
What kind of organ are you playing on? Wondering, because my churchis looking into a new organ and yours sounds beautiful! We currently have a HAMMOND C3...closely related to the B3. But I am the organist at my church and I am looking for a more traditional pipe organ sound! We dont have the money for a "REAL" pipe organ, so I would like to find an electric that sounds just as good! PLease Get back to me about this...thank you! By the way, You play beautifully!
I mention the Organ on my profile page but for now, it is a Viscount ( made in Italy ), this model is very small but they have many too choose from, visit their website sometime. Thanks for the compliment †
Haven't made one yet - will be very inexpensive if I decide to make one. I have been Blessed and will sell for production cost so many can listen to the Hymns. Thanks for visiting †
As far as the CD, I get Hundreds of request for one with almost 3,000 subscribers now, I am considering it and this will be the title - GLORIOUS IS THY NAME †
WOW ! that was awesome. We sometime sing this as an anthem and do the glorious refrains slower. I like it the way you play it with so much spirit and movement. thank you Lance for these wonderful renditions, you are the best.
Brilliant ! THUMBS UP !
