  • dude check out my vid on the wadding i found the exact same stuff they use at manufacture just be sure to wash the wadding in pure alcohol before you use it as they put anti-allergy anti-bacterial stuff on the fiber wool or wadding as its called.

  • And how long will that last using 6 drops? Certainly not as long as the original cartridge?

  • Hi, I've been watching some of your videos tryin to save a little $, and i want to know if you or anyone else knows what ecig to use that works outside. I'm a multitasker who puffs away while working outside all the time, and these silly things don't like being outside. And by the way, my filler is a sponge, and i've tried the polyfil and it does work, but i have a habit of keeping the smoke in my mouth and puff all the time.

  • Oh, for those who do not know, cotton and polyester are two different things NOT two of the same.

  • i use that fish tank filter stuff seems to work fine no weird taste or smell lol

  • couldn't u just tear some outta your couch or car seat?

  • I am no expert but.. For those of you that have questions about burning poly material. First off understand that the Juice is non combustible (just like water), it cannot be caught on fire. The juice wicks up the fiber and wicks into the atomizer. There is an actual metal screen on the outside. An e-cig is not burning and not melting the stuffing in a cartridge (you aren't running these without juice in them are you?). A smart Vaper will top off their cart when it gets low...

  • @irefrem

Actually, you're wrong. Some of the flavored liquids contain alcohol, which is certainly combustible/flammable.

  • You shouldnt use cotton as it is a harobor and allows the growth of bacteria.

  • i just researched and found that polyester, when burnt, creates fumes that are toxic. i just bought some polyester and now i'm gonna return it =x

  • i think you should use a heatproof absorbant material or you could be vaporizing the synthetic fibres and this could pose a seriouse health risk, just because it looks the same, it's neccesaraly the same material, i'm sure the origional fibres are heat proof, does anyone know the answer?

  • @izzzzzz6 the original ones are made out of wool i believe

  • @YUCKFEEZY

Why hasn't anyone put the polyfil and the original cartridge fiber under a microscope together? That should give a pretty quick and easy assessment.

  • LOL, he says mammah jammah

  • I consistently see people drip into an empty cartridge.

Doesn't the juice leak through the draw hole?

  • AHA!!! Got it... Morningglory is the brand name... I guess it's off to walmart. Thanks Rob!!!

  • UM... great vid. Just wondering do you have the manufacturer's name of the stuff you are using? I have a Michaels craft store near me, when I searched for "Polyester Fiber Filler" I got like 7 different types / brands... Not sure if it matters, but I don't want to buy the wrong stuff. Also, where did you get yours from? Thanks man!!!

  • can you use cotton balls for stuffing?

  • @metaphysikz101 most-likely, yes.

  • you are a smart man...thanks for the vid

  • my girl and i are using e-cigs and so far so good, no tobacco! but your video will make it that much easier, thanks a million. we will definitely try this method!

  • Ok, question- Did you remove the little mini plastic clear/white colored cartridge (had a foil-like liner) when you first refilled the cartridges?

When we went to fill ours, they all had these little guys inside the yellow(ish) cartridge. I was just wondring if you removed them completely.

We just took them out because your video didn't mention them. So far, it works great! So thank you, we were just curious, that's all. :)

  • Thank you!!

  • Rob, basically, you rock. This vid kicked ass. P.S. Love the knife and paperclip technique!

  • excellent video...am wondering will method work with the Smoke51 trio that I have. It is somewhat similiar to what your refilling there. I ask this because I was told it couldn't be done.

  • Have you ever tried cotton?

  • 2:53. badmambajamba ahahahha

  • Dude, thanks for this vid, my wife makes stuffed bears, so I already have this stuffing, AWESOME, now I can refill my cig's

  • What about using cotton? It seems to work pretty well

  • I've only tried cotton once and it didn't wick properly. It held about 90% of the juice I put in it and wouldn't deliver it to the atomizer.

  • I'm confused by the term "wick". I have been vapeing for 2 weeks now so alot of this is new to me. I notice when I hit the cartridge with the cotton it has a good throat feel the first couple of tries. Then after that I get the vape still however not that heavy feeling I crave. Would the material you use work better to deliver that feeling more consistently?

  • The term "wick" refers to the liquid traveling from the cartridge material in to the atomizer. A candle "wick" "wicks" wax to the flame as a fuel source. In this case we're talking about the juice flowing in to the metal bridge and then in to the atomizer itself. See, also; capillary action.

  • Thanks for you reply and your help. I am currently using you exact method and very very pleased with the results. Using cotton seemed like a good idea however you were right it was absorbing too much and not wicking. You have saved me a lot of money

  • Awesome! Very glad I could help. If you ever have any other questions, let me know and I'll do what I can to answer them.

  • @1OrangeOctave1 Cotton cant handle the temperature if it gets hot, titan atomizers get HOT. Use the same stuff that the Chinese manufacturer use, i do check out my vid

  • The fact that the material disintergrated doesnt sound good. That means it went somewhere... most likely into your lungs...

  • No, I think it's more that the fiber material gets hung on the atomizer, gets removed, some falls out when messing with it, some more gets stuck on the atty and gets removed, etc...Also, the material is the same as is used in the original carts.

  • is this safe material to use?

  • Wow Thanks! That will last forEVER. How long do you go before you usually determine the filling needs thrown out?

  • eh...it's actually more a function of performance than time. When it stops acting right, I replace it.

  • where do you buy the poly batting? Cheap?

  • try walmart. Make sure it's untreated

  • Yeah, I got mine at walmart...It's cheap and easy :)

  • When dripping into the mouthpiece, Did you leave the little plastic container in and stuff the poly into it?

  • The Evo cart is actually 2 pieces. I took the inner cartridge out and stuffed that part.

  • Dude....

Your video was very helpful. I'll be using your instructions.

Looks like you might have had a little something extra to smoke before you did the video though! LOL!

  • Nope...I was sick as a dog. NyQuil FTW!

  • Hey rob,

I look into the filling you were talking about. I went a step further...Got the poly batting roll (.25"). I fold it over and iron it.

When you iron it make sure not to touch the poly to the iron, but, sandwich it in between a towel. When you iron it for about 20-30 seconds, it takes on the same exact consistency as the original fill.

Of course i am using an RN-4081 model.

    Amazing!!

  • Yes, the poly batting works just as well as this stuff and a lot of people report that it's easier to use. Whichever works for each person.

  • the mouthpiece has the cartridge inside. I think that's what you're referring to.

  • correct

  • Nice Stelehtto!

  • the fuckin thing works again after blowin through it for 2 minutes, wohoooo.

do u own a lady pipe and a 601, if so i'd like to see a comparison vid.

  • I don't, no. At this time, all I own are the 4 EVO's and a hacked pen-style I'm modding.

  • crap, my atomizer is broke, just got this fuckin thing last week, and my other atomizer went out 2 days ago.

  • Idisregard my comment on cigarette filter material, it worked i think only because there was liquid on the atomizer, quit workin after a few tokes

  • I just tried a cigarette filter, pulled it out with my teeth, put it dripped some liquid on it put it in my penstyle, works good, now i got a use for my cigarettes.

  • does this batting cause any damage to atomizer? I have been looking for fish tank filter stuff. a little more coarse than batting would be. but also a polyester type fiber. I love the vid, keep up the good work. Also re: glycerin again any damage to atomizer?

    thanks for the postings.

  • This batting is not known to cause atomizer damage, no. Neither is glycerine. Also, the fish tank filter media you're talking about (Fluval) is reported to have issues with wicking liquid properly so a lot of people have stopped using it.

  • Is it exactly the same instead of for example me going out and buying a ton of extra empty cartridges?

  • Yes it is. It works PERFECTLY and will save you heaps of money.
