There is a slightly discernable pattern for this boss.
When he's at the top of the screen you'll notice that the strands in the background are not connected. When he begins his attack more webs will connect to horizontally to the diagnol strands making a path for him to come down.
It's a shame that bosses in Megaman don't have recognizable patterns and are unpredictable. After that many failures, you begin to realize that cheating is the only way to victory.
So true. Perhaps one day in the distant future, programmers will find a way to create a game that is possible to beat without cheating, but until then, we will always have hadokens.

Second while BoSpider's main tell is trying to judge the path it will take my mind cannot calculate it that fast.
Third it's weakness is Shotgun Ice, I'm not a Megaman rookie, I've beaten every classic and every X game save for X6.
Whatchoo talkin' 'bout Willis? Megaman bosses are *renowned* for their patterns. Sure, they might be a little complex, or you might have to think fast, but they're all perfectly beatable on the first go if you're patient.
