  • £232 in the Uk that's $358 ouch

  • £232 in the Uk

  • kill knife, who would need that for general use...?

  • Entrek seems underrated and the spear point Merc is one substancial piece. Buy USA!

  • Thats an awesome knife, id have a leather sheath made for it, cuz i think that sucks that the kydex scratches it.. its too nice to have such a crappy shieth.

  • i had one and the kydex sheath scratched up the aluminium guard a LOT. i didnt like that at all.

  • Kydex scratches steel and anything less hard than it, including alluminum, not really a fault of the maker, just the materials in general.

  • but it doesnt make the knife better looking .another solution would be better.

  • That looks like a manly knife.

  • That is is.

  • I have my eyes on the 11 Bravo, any chance you will be reviewing that?

  • Not anytime soon, but I do know someone who has it if you want to talk to him, I am sure he would be happy to tell you about it.

  • Yeah if its ok with him, just wondering what his opinion is.

  • Nevermind, he got a companion, and now wants to get a Bravo also, so he doesnt have it yet.

    Sorry.

I have sold a couple of Bravos, but I dont know to whom, so I cant contact them and ask.

  • No problem, thanks for checking. I'll probably just go ahead and get one soon.

  • I can say that the survivor, lynx, merc, and badger are all great knives lol.

  • Obviously you are not unbias to Entrek knives...:) I own a Sub-Hilt Silhouette and a Merc and they're some of the toughest knives that I've got. You talked of perfectly even grinds, well not on mines and the finish isn't that great...not bad but not great. But I don't care 'cause when you buy an Entrek it's for it's toughness and reliability. The only bad side of an Entrek is there unbelievably crappy sheaths...now that's an insult for such a knife...Cheers!!!

  • I am not biased towards them, I sell them now because of how impressed I was when I bought mine, and tested it.

My finish on mine was perfect, and on the Merc, it may just be that you have older ones, or I have heard from other people who bought it elsewhere that it came scratched.

Kydex scratches the finish, and when retailers sell it in the kydex sheath there goes your finish.

The grind lines on all mine match up perfectly, maybe the newer ones are better?

  • double edge blades are dangerous, pure combat knives,i cut my hand a long time ago on 1 learnt a costly lesson, nice knife if your in iraq or afganstan.

  • thats why I say (and entrek) its a combat knife

  • that is 1 sexy knife!

  • It certainly is!

  • danm these things are xpensive!!!!! jst clicked on the link

  • You get what you pay for, and to be honest, they are cheaper than their competition. Yea expensive if you compare it to the bottom line CS models, but cheaper if you compare it to their comparable models, that they charge like $400 for.

So it depends on your reference point. And like I said, you get what you pay for.

  • well im 16 so u can guess my price range lol. i just went on ur site where ur selin me and i just wana say DAMN thats a good deal... now to get my dad to buy me it...

  • LOL good luck! Xmas is almost here though!

  • jewish :( lol

  • hanika then lol

  • 8 times as many chances lol

  • Great Video Bearr, very enjoyable, beautiful knife and awesome blade shape, 5 stars.

    Mike.

  • Thanks man, always nice to hear!

  • what song was that at the start

  • Stellastarr - Moongirl (same one as at the end as well)

  • Great knife. Love the double blade. Super handle shape.

  • It does have a great shape! And the handle, man is it comfortable!

  • Nice!

  • sure is

  • LOL I know what you mean about being broke. I like the Bison as well. You could also look at the Buffalo, it is just a smaller version of the Bison, a little more affordable.

  • Hi Bear, beautiful knife right there... I kinda like the sheet.

Hey, I know this is off topic but... knowing tha you're like a steel expert and that you allways... like doublecheck the quality of the products... do you happen to have any comments on a knife brand named "Wallis"???

  • Never heard of them.

  • Beautiful Knife!

  • thanks man, it is!

  • WOW that is a great looking knife!

  • It sure is, it feels even better than it looks!

  • Just got paid today many bills to pay, crunching numbers right now to see if I can squeeze this knife in :)

  • LOL, you should also check out the Sub Hilt, it is very beautiful, both also come in MKII black coating if you want.

If you dont have enough, you can always check out the Force Recon or Fighting Falcon, both come with both edges sharpened.

There are other double sided knives as well, but I know what you mean, this is one sweet knife.

  • You can also check out the Commando, it doesnt have a guard, but is much cheaper than the Merc. Different design altogether though, although it is double edged.

  • in the discription you put Forward raked guard and palm swell fit will in hand i think you mean fit well in hand, just some thing you might want to correct

  • I dont see a problem, the forward raked guard and palm swell fit well in the hand....

I dont see a difference, what did I spell something wrong or something? It looks fine to me.

  • very interesting knife, I DO LOVE the fire drill idea with the hole, very cool bonus feature!!!

  • It is a very sweet knife, holds well in the hand, very well.

  • 2:15 LOL

  • Thats my construction worker impression lol.

  • is there another blade thats not a dager that has that hole?

  • Every blade with a guard has them. So there is like 8 other blades with them.
