Very true dave4378. I'm not really a fan of the 80s (Not saying that it sucked), but they are 100% better than the depressing 00s. The next decade can onlt get worse, as long as the trends of the 00s keep as it is.

You see, I'm a 60s kind of guy. I prefer the golden age of Hollywood, etc.

why would anyone have that mentality? If you thought the best years ended 2 decades ago then why would you bother living today? also the sixties was only invented by nostalgic people after the sixties had ended. and i'm sure in 20 years time ther will be nostalgia for this decade too

Firstly this guy is no Bill Hicks, secondly he's a jerk. It's easy to focus on everything that sucked about the decade. The 80s was a colourful & interesting decade compared to the el-bland-o-rama 00s. That's probably why there's so much 80s nostalgia at the moment, people are starved for something good. Hey you know what's cool about the 00s, NOTHING.
