Here is the US PATENT # 4,447,024 Williams Airborne Vehicle, if you want the Detailed Drawings and description Sam Williams provided go to "US PATENT OFFICE" and order your copy. the Patent was granted May 8th 1984 and expired in 2002, so now any one can make a WR19-7 engine and X-jet/WASP airframe, Building mine with Carbon Fiber instead of Aluminium.
This is pretty cool. It's amazing how many UFO style devices were envisioned and developed, and then all of a sudden shoved into the closet in lieu of helicopters (more efficient, yeah, but try flying a helicopter in a crowded urban environment ;))
Information on this flying platform was extremely hard to find but the design is very simple. The most expensive part is the Jet Engine. The patent is actually public domain and I now have a copy (and build plans) The Williams F107 which powers this thing is the same one on the Tomahawk and unless you are NASA or Military research... forget it. No other engine on the market is small enough and weight compatible to do the design but we are working on it. It's a fore/aft vs vertical thrust thing.
Hi.. I noticed the tree's blowing around in the orginal clip..The wash from the vechile didnt seem to look natural and seemed disproportinal for its size..eg, Very wide and heavy wash. Still there is no jet blast shown in any other part of the clip..How do you have one shot showing heaps of jet wash but then show none in the rest. This because it was likely fake. The best explanation is that it was suspended under a helicopter by wires and in that particular shot it was strung abit closer.
You are an idiot. It would be FAR MORE DIFFICULT to create this "hoax" than to make this work the way it does.
1) the trees don't move MUCH, because they are BIG and the turbine is SMALL.
2) it DOES create a downdraft, JUST LOOK and you will see it, you idiot.
3) Harriers weigh over 20,000 pounds. This thing weighs less than 600, even with a 200-pound man on board. Do the math. Do you know what power-to-weight ratios are? I bet you think the moon landing was fake too. Moron.
Look at the harrier jump jet, the hovering jet fighter, when it "inverts" its jet propulsion, it creates an incredible down stream of air! I know the harrior is heavier than this fakefloatermajig but still a powerfull tram of air shouldbe pounding the ground this thing flies over.
look at the tree it flies over!!!! IT DID NOT MOVE AT ALL! and an inverted jet engine was supposed to have just flown over it?! Dont fall for it guys, its a hoax!
@stewartpowerandlight The WASP, later named the X-Jet, was the result of fifteen years of development. It looked a bit like a flying garbage can, with the pilot standing on the fuel tank and a 600-pound turbofan engine mounted in front of him. Performance of the WASP was impressive, with a speed of 60 mph and a service ceiling of 10,000 feet. Maximum flight time was just over 30 minutes.. The craft was listed in Jane’s All the World’s Aircraft as late as the 1985 edition.
@don56texas US PATENT NUMBER 4,447,024, places the fuel tanks on either side of the X-JET and the 1974 WASP ONE is in the Video with the WR19-7 engine-weight 68 pounds which was used in the Flying Belt, the 1982 WASP TWO was equipped with the First generation F107 weight 115 pounds, the Wasp TWO has a "full Weight with fuel" just over 500 pounds, all patents have expired-now anyone can make the WR19-7 and the WASP I and WASPII.

Its caused by the down draft from helicopter that's above it holding the support wires...lol..... What people actually think this thing uses zero point energy from the 20's... Need to drink somemore kool-aid i think...

@frickandfracksicem I'm interested in knowing how you are going to build the Wr19-7.

erm dust cloud is there cause of the xhaust blowing down.

Williams Int- is a crock of sh!t-
Boycott Williams international and don't buy their product for your birds-
Buy GE, or PW.

I don't think "naturally" is the correct word. ;-)

@TKnightcrawler
The word "logically" probably doesn't belong there either.
