@zerosix1786 It's not that expensive to make BUT it is a very good weapon for the fact it's a perfect sniping weapon while playing in the woods. It is gas powerd and can shoot further than most spring snipers. A lot of other airsoft weapons are cheaper like assualt rifles and sub machine guns. But here in Canada it's like 5x more expencive. So this gun if there was one in canada would be about 1800 Canadian dollars.

@TheGuitarist4181 sorry man, but you would never be allowed to even come close to a M-200 at the age of 12 let alone shoot it. this gun shoots a .408 chey tac, well the one that is supplied to the army does. If you had shot it it would be the M-200 CIV (Civilian) witch shoots a .375 chey tac, that round alone is almost impossible for a 12 year old to handle. And by saying you shot it at a army base seals the deal making you a lieing fag.

Im not a bullshit lier. I easily handled the caliber, before i shot the m200, i shot a .600 nitro express wich i think puts off a recoil.....

i also shot a m14 echanced battle rifle full auto in standing position, wich puts off a a hella recoil...................

@scipio544 not bullshit, the gun weighs in at 27 pounds, that takes much of the recoil, im a big kid i weighed 150 pounds and was 6ft tall back then. my brother was a sniper for the navy, his choice of rifle was cheyenne tactical m200. .408 is a standerd elk hunting round. i have a .408 bushmaster rifle to hunt them. so how could i not handle a .408 caliber round from a 27 pound gun that takes almost all the recoil, you ae sounding like a total dumbass...........

You cant because it would be agenst the law to shoot a M-200 that is the version that is used in the army. if you would have said it was the civ version i would have belived you but you would not or at least should not have permition to use the M-200 at a army or navy training facility especially at the age of twelve no matter how big you are.

whats up with the bolt? i really dont like that design, you pull it back 1 1millionth of a centimeter lol. thats kind of a fail... it seems pretty good overall though. 100 round spring mag with spring bolt, used green gas, and comes with a nice scope

Ares and Socom's are almost the same except the main difference is:

Ares M200 Intervention

- gas doesnt have shell eject (while socom one does)

- does not come with the certificate of authencation (socom does)

However, both are mean guns. not advised to be on the recieving end of the barrel.
