iv been builled pretty much my whole school life. i dropped out in first grade!! i have not been able to go back since. The bulling is everywhere. I get it at my home, i get it on text's, facebook, everything. It is truly horrible and someone needs to put a stop to this. It is killing great people, and hurting alot more. Take it from someone who knows. It hurts alot.
I find this to be a major problem in not only schools, but at work places, inside homes, and on the streets. Take it from someone who's bullied every day by her parents and sibling. We need to stop this epidemic.

I totally agree with Ms Walkers comments about by-standers. I believe that early education and communication with young children is the key to preventing incidents of bullying in school, but there is also lot to be said about by-stander training. Teachers and parents are not always present when bullying takes place but there are often by-standers who are present and fail to take action. We need to equip them with the knowledge and skills to help victims of bullying.

The comment in this video that is silly "It's not just an urban inner city problem". On behalf of small town grads, "No sh*t!" Smaller schools have as much if not MORE bullying -- they have less diversity and are a lot more likely to have a lot fewer places for kids who are being bullied to hide from their bullies. You can't just go find another group of friends because there aren't enough kids to have groups. The same people are in power for generations & protect their basketball stars, etc.

@eea1609 - bullying is a horrible thing. I've been there and I know how much it hurts. Taking your own life may seem like the easy solution but there is a much better alternative. Perhaps you can't make those fuckers stop bullying you, but maybe you could talk to your parents about it and switch to another school.
Sometimes I too think about taking my own life but I keep telling myself that when I'm older it will get better.

I totally agree with Ms Walkers comments about by-standers. I believe that early education and communication with young children is the key to preventing incidents of bullying in school, but there is also lot to be said about by-stander training. Teachers and parents are not always present when bullying takes place but there are often by-standers who are present and fail to take action. We need to equip them with the knowledge and skills to help victims of bullying.

Bullying stems from the same source as racism, picking on the weak and different. To end bullying we need to reach to the children at a young age teaching them acceptance of others, equality to all. Sadly their are public organizations that encourage negative thoughts on others while having the mask of caring and peace... Generally its towards gays, but other cultures feel the heat as well. Mind set already there, taught to discourage one, easy to do it to others.

The comment in this video that is silly "It's not just an urban inner city problem". On behalf of small town grads, "No sh*t!" Smaller schools have as much if not MORE bullying -- they have less diversity and are a lot more likely to have a lot fewer places for kids who are being bullied to hide from their bullies.
