Intriguing. Would be good to see a tour of this part of the city from a car or something. A streetscape makes the place as much as the homes. If we lose the past what identity will the next generation form ? Bugger all I should think going by the contemporary award winning architecture of today, (choke !). You wanna see a real Cinderella city - come to Wellington, New Zealand ! We have all sorts of higgledy-piggledy Victorian era structures nestle in amongst a typography of gullies and hillsides
