How the heck did you get it so that you can actually read the text? That's probably the main reason that I quit the game; I couldn't read what was going on, so I didn't know how to play and I rage-quitted.

I have never liked racing games all that much, and i sure as heck don't wanna build my own racer. I'm not being closed minded, but i still wish this game was a full platformer like the two predecessors.
I believe they took out the moves because it wouldve been hard to transfer the controls to Xbox. Z C-left... Really all of the moves with Z because, well, there are no Z or C buttons.
You guys know why they changed it, right? Two big reasons.
1) The world designs were HUGE. It would have taken too long to get around.
2) The same people who are complaining about it changing are probably the same people who would have complained if they made another platformer. You notice how a lot of series are getting bashed on new games that follow similar patterns as previous games? (Exception: Capcom) They wanted to avoid that. They took a risk. And you know what? It's not even that bad.
1) They could have EASILY scaled it down to fit a more platformer style of gameplay. That is not an issue.
2) Just Objection upon Objection. Mario, Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem, Smash Bros, Metroid, Metal Gear Solid, Soul Calibur, and Donkey Kong Country. Sure they had many tweaks to gameplay, but in it's very essence, these games have essentially remained the same. TBC

@domanskikid and quite easy. I spent days trying beating Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie final bosses, I've beaten this in five minutes the first time I tried it.
I must say, my good sir (or miss perhaps), that you have a very ingenious vehicle! Very well designed and versatile, the flight mechanisms being the most interesting in all that. Although I would suggest twin torpedo launchers instead of the lazer as your main weaponry, your contraption remain quite the phenomenon!
On my part I simply used a chopper, not very original but it worked just fine and I managed to get a TT! I called it "GA-GA" a reference to an old N64 game called "Chopper Attack".
Banjo and Kazooie should've stayed as a regular platform/collect it all-game. This game isn't anything like the old good ones. I mean, it's all about vehicles..
@Arielpillow yes because they didnt try to copy Mario Kart. Since when in Mario Kart do you design vehicles, attach weapons to them, and collect stuff? @THEtinyemo True, yet, think about it. Who else could hate Banjo and Kazooie more than Gruntilda herself? (But remember, in Donkey Kong Country 3, K Rool built Kaos to help him dominate the world in a different body form, and in the 90s, we were confident it WAS Kaos as the main antagonist until we saw Oz come out of the curtains). It could be very well possible that the next foe is a robot of some sort being controled by Gruntilda, & being under the illusion the bot is a new enemy altogether.
I always come very close to defeating the broomstick but it always passes 8 minutes and half of my vehicles won't do the job whether Grunty knocks off my fuel and propeller or it just won't go straight up when it flies! or sometimes it just doesn't even get off the ground! I honestly need help fighting it I have great time on the land vehicle of 9 seconds and the rest but for me that Broomstick is the most annoying thing. EVER But The game was easy until that moment as you can see I need help!!!

the first 2 were SO much more epic. in those games, you always felt like the odds were against you and the strongest being in the whole game universe was your enemy. not the case in this game. I feel so sad when I think about what I thought this game would, could, and should have been...
Well the details of this new game are very impressive, yet the fight was entertaining but totally change everything which makes me feel uncomfortable. Just watching the whole battle, with L.O.G. deciding things just isn't right. I totally miss Gruntilda with her old self. It owuld be amazing to see her in full detail like the others this time. I hope the next game takes considerations of the many fan players, and to use more magic and less technology.

1. No, you can't die in this game. You can take damage by falling off high ground or drown, but when you faint, Kazooie slaps you wide awake again.

I must say, my good sir (or miss perhaps), that you have a very ingenious vehicle! Very well designed and versatile, the flight mechanisms being the most interesting in all that. Although I would suggest twin torpedo launchers instead of the lazer as your main weaponry, your contraption remain quite the phenomenon!
On my part I simply used a chopper, not very original but it worked just fine and I managed to get a TT! I called it "GA-GA" a reference to an old N64 game called "Chopper Attack".

The only stuff you collect in Mario Kart are the weapons. But yes I share the general opinion that this game may have been ok but PLEASE can we have platforming back

Rare was a independent company untill microsoft bought it.
Microsoft are arseholes, but Nuts n Bolts was a great game. (And I have played the original BK games and I love them too)

@THEtinyemo True, yet, think about it. Who else could hate Banjo and Kazooie more than Gruntilda herself? (But remember, in Donkey Kong Country 3, K Rool built Kaos to help him dominate the world in a different body form, and in the 90s, we were confident it WAS Kaos as the main antagonist until we saw Oz come out of the curtains). It could be very well possible that the next foe is a robot of some sort being controled by Gruntilda, & being under the illusion the bot is a new enemy altogether.

I always come very close to defeating the broomstick but it always passes 8 minutes and half of my vehicles won't do the job whether Grunty knocks off my fuel and propeller or it just won't go straight up when it flies! or sometimes it just doesn't even get off the ground! I honestly need help fighting it I have great time on the land vehicle of 9 seconds and the rest but for me that Broomstick is the most annoying thing. EVER But The game was easy until that moment as you can see I need help!!!

I actually quite liked this game...
although now ive said that im gonna get a load of people disliking this comment... but i really did like this game, and i thought that the introduction of a different gameplay method was enjoyable, at least theyre not churning out the same old crap every so often.

the first 2 were SO much more epic. in those games, you always felt like the odds were against you and the strongest being in the whole game universe was your enemy. not the case in this game. I feel so sad when I think about what I thought this game would, could, and should have been...

Well the details of this new game are very impressive, yet the fight was entertaining but totally change everything which makes me feel uncomfortable. Just watching the whole battle, with L.O.G. deciding things just isn't right. I totally miss Gruntilda with her old self. It owuld be amazing to see her in full detail like the others this time. I hope the next game takes considerations of the many fan players, and to use more magic and less technology.
