  • Very impressive! You could start a business for yourself there!!

  • That's brilliant man, get into building them full time, I bet it costs slot to run that, I got a 4ft x 2ft x2ft viv and that costs about £20-£30 a week in electric

  • @scrfishing why does it cost you £20 - £30?! how much do you pay per unit? i'm not paying more than £5 a month for my 4x2x2...

  • wondering what I think? I think it looks stunning mate, must be the best viv I've seen.

  • Dude this is sweet as fuk cheers man

  • How do u clean and replace the substrate

  • what are the plant did u use... are they real or fake

  • What kind of paint should I use

  • @willrep420 all paint needs to be acrylics they are safe to use and then varnish it with a low voc varnish

  • Wow great job man I get my new beardie soon love your viv

  • @willrep420 cheers mate

  • Would you recommend this sort of a project for an amateur to build? I've very little experience in crafting these sorts of things, though I do plan to get another beardie soon and I want to give him a larger setup. Perhaps not as colossal as this, though. Anyone's reply would be greatly appreciated :)

  • @arterialshadow yes we would this was our first attempt, you just need to study how roacks look first

  • @knightreplica thank you very much for the reply. I was worried about taking something upon myself that I simply couldn't finish. Thank you :D

  • @arterialshadow just think about what u want to achieve and picture it in your mind, then carve individual pieces with a bread knife and clue blocks together to make bigger rocks and so on, just keep adding them. it always looks crap until you add the grout and paint. but remember to carve anything deeper than normal as the grount fills up too much of the space otherwise. Good luck

  • @knightreplica That's a very good tip, and thank you again for the reply. I'll definitely be giving this a go :)

  • Beautiful i like the way you put clouds ontop of the tank;]

  • Pound as in uk money or weight

  • @turt13b0y as in money

  • Awesome vivarium. Im planning to get one bearded dragon for christmas, with vivarium and all most important stuff. I want to have more of them some day, and here is my question. In shop they told me that it's the best to have one beardie. Aren't yours fighting etc? Are they mixed? Like male and female. Thank you for answer. Outstanding vivarium overall :) They are very lucky to be yours.

  • omg i love it! where did you get all your stuff from? ive been looking for stuff like that for months and still cant find anything like that

  • wow this is so amazing! great job! :)

  • that shiot is dope i give you props :)

  • any got any ideas on the perfect sized tank for each stage of the beardies life starting at baby all the way up to fully grown im thinking about 2 at the moment thanks :)

  • @xWezzzz ideal size would be a 2ft viv until they get to around 9 months after that point they should be going into their 4ft min

  • Your vivarium is a work of art. Fantastic stuff.

  • AMAZING!

  • @talkingtomconvos thanks :)

  • an amazing vivarium good job

  • @fiercejimbo cheers

  • Ok thanks I might get 2 bearded dragons, I got told they can live by there own but I think they r better in pairs or groups. How do I get my parents to get me 2 bearded dragons cause they said I might only be aloud one, have u got any ideas????

  • @Fishyboy1998 lie and say the shop had a sale and gave one for free

  • @Uhcount think i missed something lol

  • Hi what size of tank would I need for 2 bearded dragons, could u also tell me please how big a tank I would need for 3 bearded dragons. Please help me ????

  • @Fishyboy1998 you would need a 4x2x2 for 2 dragons and a 5x2x2 + for 3 these are minimum sizes mind you

    Tony

  • @TheRoachHut awesome, thanks alot. Im currently building a room in my basement and i have a room within my room that has a hole in its wall to fit my terrarium, but i want to make a massive one behind the wall completely from scratch, Hopefully it comes to fruition. lol

  • That's awesome dude

  • how do you not lose like 30 crickets a day in there?! getting stuck in little places ect? or use a seperate feeding tank?

  • @directearnings i have many dragons in there i dont feed crix they smell and are noisy i only use roaches, much better for your animals and make no noise dont smell and die if they get out. on top of that if they do get away they always come out to feed on the veg, they are never missed a second time lol

  • Wow... VERY impressive. My beardie would be SO jealous.

  • @johnny0jon thanks john

  • coolest viv EVER!!!!!! building one now. thanks for the tips. saved me a fortune. tired of supporting the local over priced pet store. all the stuff i wasted money on. should have looked here sooner lol. lesson learned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @JonandSheri cheers

  • wondering just how your ventalation works. you mention the bath exhaust fan pulling out the hot air, are you using another for the intake aswell or just letting the exhaust do all the pulling?or is that the vacume that you speak of? my next question is about your lights. what do you mean by the lights not being statted? i only ask because you have inspired me to build one. mine is only going to be 60"x30"x36" since it will be my first atempt at building one.

  • @lnkheartLMS yeah the intake is not powered as when air is drawn out by extraction this creates a negative pressure which pulls in fresh air. the lights are not run through habbistats and therefore they do not go out when it gets too hot. this is where the extraction kicks in. the extraction is run through a cool stat and once it hits 85 it kicks on and reduces the temp to just below that. thia allows the lights to be staged

  • that is the best ive ever seen, wish i had it.i am new to dragons getin one in about 2 months cant wait just gettin all the info i can

  • You have made one amazing vivarium. I wishi was creative enough to design the fake rockwalls you've made, you could make and sell those!

  • For those of you with reptiles we now have a new page dedicated to roaches visit us at theroachhut.co.uk and u can also search for us here and facebook under The Roach Hut

  • Awesome viv, you said you spent approx £1000 on it? That's great, looks like you've spent more like £2000. I'm new to beardies, can you check my beardie set up on my videos and tell me what you think I could improve etc. Going to upload a video today. Thanks and well done on the setup!

  • Love the viv. Awesome! But I also love those beardies!! Especially the one sitting up on the sand stone ledge! Is there 6 of them yeh?

  • sunkissed1272000@yahoo.com I sent you a message, not sure if you received. I love this, what a Fantastic job you did creating! Can I commission you to build one maybe half this size?

  • PLEASE COMMENT BACK: Where did you get that viv at?!?!?!?!?!? its AWESOME!!!

  • @SqueedooLaDuh hi I built the viv and all the rock walls myself from scratch

  • @knightreplica You should have made a video of you building it!! Thats awesome!!!!! Haha

  • @knightreplica Hi again. I will Pay you if you build one of these for me and ship it to my House. I seriuosly Will. I can even call you on the phone or e-mail you. Can you tell me how much it would cost if you would build one for me? It does'nt have to be as big as this one if you can't make another this big if you do. Please consider thinking about it. I won't be getting a Beardie for about 5-6 Months. Please please Consider it! Thank you!!!

  • @knightreplica Why did you make it? Because you wanted them to have a natural like home?

  • @SqueedooLaDuh I built the entire thing iuncluding the backround. thanks

  • WOW! :O That is the best Vivarium I have ever seen! Well done, you must have one very happy bearded dragon;)

  • rocks are built from poystirene grout paint and varnish. some stuff came from b&q there is no uvb tube as it is integral in the megaray in the center. the megaray is what zoo's use it puts out around 30 times the amount of a normal tube. u must use acrylic paint this has no toxic problems for ur reps, and a low voc varnish i used polyvine matt floor varnish. i used no nails in order to stick junks of poly together and then carved it all with a bread knife. no mould stuff in grout either. tony

  • they made from polystirene grout paint and varnish most of it came from b and q

  • What are your rock walls made of? and where did you get the supplies from?

I plan to make a vivarium like this, and I'm willing to splash out a reasonable amount of cash. I'd also like to know where your UVA (long blue bar) light is, because I can't see it here. and How do you monitor the temperatures of your tank? and should I be wary of toxics in the paints? How do you compile lots of these rocks together, with glue or just piling them, if glue, which is safe?

  • This is amazing!

  • why would this have dislikes its simply amazing

  • AMAIZING!!!!

  • Dude that's awesome. I wish I had mad skills like that. And nice beardies

  • That's badass

  • Sofa king cool. I wish that was mine!

  • ive had my beardie 4 about 3 months now and i wanted 2 try and upgrade his cage his cage, its about a 50 gallon tank but at the top its just a screen and the heat from the lights is starting 2 melt it a little, what do u think would be the cheapest way to upgrade it ?

  • nice cage wow im speechless

  • What kind of substrate are you using?

  • @tacohero it is play pit sand

  • Where and how did you get/setup the rock background.

  • @tacohero i built it all myself including the backround

  • Awsome

  • who installed this for you? this is simply amazing

  • @roramonjr i built it myself

  • How much that cost you

  • @203keemy around 1200 quid

  • @203keemy about 1200 pounds

  • holy hell m8 that is a awesome vivarium, and the background is intense

  • @MrLethalwizard thanks m8
