Moronic parents. Teach your kids to look both ways. Wandering across a street in LA is freaking stupid. Why are they just wandering off without their kid? The entire situation is made of fail. I'm sorry they lost their son, but anyone who lives in LA sees crap like this all the time. Parents not watching their kids, and people wandering across streets like they're invincible. i knew the kid...he was my little brother's best friend...he didnt die sunday moring, he died saturday night after a quinceanera...please,if you know anything, call the cops...please, whoever did this, turn yourself in...you killed a nine year old for heavens sake!!! please...just plase do it...their family and my family beg you, and so does my comuntiy!!!

I don't get this, their family beg the driver for what, to get him in the jail? then they would be satified with it? The kid is dead, gone, never would come back.

btw, the police officer said he looked at the left side and miscalculated the speed of the car. It is funny. The kid was not looking except running.

no, they beg you to help stop srunk drivers and their effects on our community!!! the kid is gone in body, but we feel him with us. They beg to know who it is, not because they want to have him in jail, but so that he knows what he/she did. and he did look to the left. all the kids from my school went, and he did turn left, but didn't turn his head enough for the camara to get it. ur heartless...

everyone in the community is hurt because of this, and ur here talking smack!!! heartless...

I am not heartless. I am just analyzing the case. Yes, the driver was wrong, speeding and not stopping after the accident. The officer only mentioned how the driver was driving fast and hit and run. He didn't say anything about saftey crossing, how teachers should teach kids not to run at where there is no crosswalk. Instead, they just want the driver so bad. So my point is, if that was my kid, I don't care he/she got caught. The most important thing is my kid was gone already.

There is no way, no how to catch the driver. I just think it is a waste of time and money. No one has a clue of where the driver is.

So, the parents should just relax and just prayed for the kid to go to a good place.

Not the other way, they should not follow what the surrouding pepole and community doing.

yeah there kinda is...it gives a description, and the windshield should be dented majorly, and so should the hood...

they want it because of the safety of the other kids in our community, not just for theirs...he/she was drunk, and hit a kid, and im sure that if it were your case, you would want whats right...they want it, so the community wants it...we support each other...
