@nowman43 i got 2 rods, a ugly stick 6'6 with 30 briaded, and a 7'6 with 30 pound also. a 6'6 would work with 30 pound if ur going off the dock, if ur going on a boat, a lot, go for bigger rods and heavier test.

TheVulgerMastermind is not much of a mastermind if he thinks any one who knows anything about fishing will think he's serious or funny about catching a three foot perch. I fish and scuba dive (in Sarnia) if I saw that thing under water I'd go the other way. As for the legality that depends on what fishing license you have. As for assholes only if they are fishing for trophies, if you release or eat it it's all good.
