I returned from Port Au Prince yesterday. For anyone going there, there is no reason to fear. Much of downtown still looks like this and many people still live in tents. The Iron Market has been restored and I felt safe walking in the daytime. Banks are open (not at the airport as far as I could find) and there is an air conditioned place to eat as well as a supermarket (Roi des Roi) near the Park Hotel. The Haitien Museum at Champ de Mars is open.

Le lendemain matin, alors qu'elle conduit et que Guay est passager, elle effectue différentes manoeuvres de contre-filature et réussit à semer les policiers. La voiture ne sera repérée qu'en fin d'après-midi. C'est Benoît Guay qui est au volant, et sa femme est passagère.

Il ne fait aucun aveu, ne fournit pas d'alibi, mais ne nie pas sa participation. Guay confie cependant qu'il ne peut plus vivre avec les échecs et qu'il voit la mort comme une issue. Quand on lui prélève un échantillon d'ADN, il devient tout rouge. On le conduit peu après à l'hôpital en raison de ses idées suicidaires.

i do not fault them for stealing food because people have to survive but the manor they do it should be scrutinized. They don't want to be looked on as animals they shouldn't act like animals. The other question is do they have to steal food? Food was dropped. it only took a few days before if not instantly before they began acting crazy. There was a big event yes but can a person get though it and obviously they can because they have the energy to fight and riot.
