This game is awesome i love it too, but i must disagree at what you say in the description: "Good graphics for its time" no way man!! Blood was from 1997 this is the same year of Quake II !!!, that has full smooth 3d graphics, lighting, and larger resolution!

If so, then it can be configured to only show a certain amount of memory by setting the "memsize" parameter to whatever amount -1 that you want to be available to DosBOX.

@TheEternalOverlord If you test any of old 2.5 games, like wolf3d, blake stone, doom, heretic, hexen, blood, duke3d, corridor 7, rise of triad - any of them - the difficulty was not bound to real difficulty, BUT was really difficult to target, being able to only move your body with arrow keys, but not your weapon.

As one guy commented when rating duke nukem forever - "If I knew that you could target with mouse, I would have owned ALL LAN DM's back in duke3d era."

I played the shareware version in DOSBox .74 fine. This guy made the video with DOSBox. Its open source and runs on windows XP, Vista, 7, OSX, and Linux.

All I can say about this game is: Play it with the soundtrack of the movie "Pat Garret & Billy the Kid". The train level in chapter one is perhaps the most gratifying this way.

The only other one I can think of that didn't suck (not counting Blood II) was Soldier of Fortune.

Blood was a FPS classic. The references to books and movies were a nice touch, and the music was very atmospheric. It was also one of the few I could finish all the way through without using a cheat code! Though it wasn't easy.
