Yeah of course John williams ! I'm so happy that most of you agree with john williams ! He has more OST 's as well as great like jaws, star wars, schindler's list, E.T., Saving private ryan, superman, Close encounter of the third kind, Harry potter, Jurassic park. Zimmer is just better known for his batman, dark night, COD modern warfare II, Lion king, Inception etc.... and has less no. of movies comparing with williams.....

I am not fond of Zimmer's material but I would concede that his work for AGAIG was catchy (no matter how much of a copy in style/homage/whatever, it was to Morricone). That said, my personal conviction is that Williams' piece although itself probably a temp track of Zimmer's, is clearly the superior piece. The orchestration/instrumentation and the interweaving of harmonies are much better, it's thematically richer and lacks the simplistic crudeness of Zimmer's piece.

We can't compare John Williams and Hans Zimmer. John Williams is a master of Wagernian style and letimotifs and using an symphonic orchestra. Zimmer can make epicly awesome pieces with electronic beats (I feel, he is the only composer that can fully combine and pull of electronic and guitar with an orchestra, yet he only uses what he wants aka not symphonic). Done. Settled by a 15 year old.

Its the same pitch i guess... and the same rythmical style... but they are different in the melodical matter.... although they sound very alike....

And sure Williams sounds way better... But I believe tecnoloical advantages of the 21st century gave him a little bit o help too... Although the instrumentation and melody chossen in williams work show a much more mature composition...

In few words... THe both of them are AWESOMEEEEEEEE
