I agree with uzipolo....this was the best Temptation album in the Dennis Edwards/Damon Harris era.....they were the originators of the dance side/romance side era on album (eat your heart out Isley Bros.) and it didn't hurt that the first single from that album was written by the Commodores!

this came from thier best albulm and No OTHER albulm after this one top it..i twas called a song for you it was a masterpiece of a albulm ALL TEMPTATION fans should own this my favorite r&b group no one can take them out always imatatided never duplicated...well the right way that is says uzipolo king of decatur

Amazing tune! One of the Temptations greatest cuts. Funfacts, from a crazed Commodores fan:
The Commodores are playing the background music, and 0:01-0:06 is taken from their 1974 song "Superman". It's Thomas McClary's guitar solo from the instrumental bridge of "Superman". It also kind of sounds like their drummer, Walter Orange, could be singing in the back, but I'm not sure about that. And 2:06-2:14 is the guitar riff near the end of "Superman". These two bands shoulda teamed up more often!

I remember "Happy People" and "Holdin' On" were my favorites from that time-late 70s). Anyone have "Holdin' On"? Can't find it. Thanks for this one, frugola92! Love it!
