How many Lies do you think you have told in your life? Have you ever stolen anything, even something small? Have you ever looked at a person with lust? Ever used GOD's name as a curse word? If you have, GOD sees you as a Lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart. The Guilty will end up in Hell. That's not GOD's will. You broke GOD's laws, but Jesus paid your fine! (IF) you Repent, and trust in Christ alone, GOD will forgive every sin you have ever committed, and grant you Eternal life
we recently sang this at our church, similar tempo but we had a bass guitar, electric guitar (on clean tone, it was me playing :D) and drum... we kinda went for a jazzy kinda feel lol...
anyway!
i love this song... one of my personal favourites and once again very nicely done :D
Wonderfu! I marvel at people's comments especially when someone puts up videos that have helped other play the guitar and sing in church. If we have a heart of worship and praise it doesn't matter WHAT we sound like. God doesn't look at the skill or quality of our playing- thank God for that! If we are singing unto Him then our performance is PERFECT! We can play skillfully and artfully but if we lack the right intentions-worship and praise to God- then it is wood hay and stubble!
Thanks. I like it both ways. It's the words, the message, that are so moving. And I think different styles can capture that. But I certainly respect those who are used to the traditional sound - certainly that's how I'm accustomed to singins hymns too.
You can sing but you have to build the song up. Listen to Elvis's version and you know how it should be song. You should sing a great song like this with more feelings and passion, there should be tender moments in there as well. Listen to the words of the song! You sing it too plain. - sorry mate.

A very nice song but way to fast. Slow it down so the people can enjoy it.

I know right. I am so used to this song being slower.

Too fast, seems you don't mean a word you say x x

I disagree...I like the up beat rendition. A nice change. Just my opinion, but this song is great at ANY speed. God Bless!

Great voice, what resonance, wow! I can also hear you singing "I Can Only Imagine". That would really rock in voice. Please record it.
I've also posted How Great Thou Art. I found a great unique accompaniment. Would love your feedback.

No no no I'm sorry but this performance is wrong.

I respect your opinion. It's not our best, I know that. But we are who we are. This is our style. Plain is OK sometimes.
