  • song nme?

  • OMG IS THIS POSSIBLE ON A NORMAL SNOWBOARD ?!

  • @123creed4

almost not,you can't use the same technique on freestyle or freeride desk.

  • This setup looks so weird and fun to ride.. hard boots with an alpine stance...

  • This is heavy stuff

  • That is how nazis carve

  • Those are VITELLI turns. Invented by Serge Vitelli, a former World Coup racer, back in the 90's.

You know, back then in the golden age of snowboarding, whitout Hoolywood stars like shawn white

  • ahahah this looks so silly

  • reminds me of some dolphins.

  • thats preety sick

  • Lmao this looks funny!

  • hahaha thats EPIC! bet the clothing companies love these guys.. they must go through gloves and jackets like theres no tomorrow! not sure you can buy a new face when that wears away too though

  • Revolutionary, it reminds me of something called...SKIING, which used to be done on long things, attached to both feet. We also called it carving, and we still do it, and pass up all those people on the little short strange shaped things they have now.

  • @tominalaska1997 we were doing this back in 1995 when your strange long things were 2 meters long and we were using asymmetrical carving boards. But I'm sure that you already knew it.

  • Now that's gracefully awesome!

  • i want to see this with a go pro camera haha

  • so sick

  • that is absolutely sick it looks so fun

  • Don't it cause a loss of speed?

  • this isnt carving! its falling. WITH STYLE.

  • Damn I di this all the time but genearly just when I'm falling lol keep it up sincerly a colorado boarder

  • i am from mid west US its pretty hard to get as good as people in Canada and Sweden and other northern countries who's season is alot longer

  • that isn' t controlled crashing and that isn't extreme carving

  • That's a nice way on how to experience on what perspective the snow feels.

  • Ah man I just wanna be on the snow again. I'm in the UK though so can't access proper outdoor snow unless I go abroad :(

  • alright so i think i got this down.

    1. turn body

    2. extend arms upward.

    3. laydown and jam face into snow

    4. repeat steps 1-3 on other side

  • Thats hot!

  • @bLoodykNuklz

Lol carving on a snowboard is nothing like surfing...

  • This looks so relaxt :) Nearly as good as freestyle boarding !

  • Bonnie Bonnie Bonnie... Tsk Tsk Tsk... So like heel slipping everywhere must be your thing huh. Who needs power grace balance speed and control anyway?

  • seriously this looks so stupid but everyone his own thing!

  • wow you're just laying on the ground ,,, pretty cool

  • dayum

  • hì_ÄNÿ_guÿs_waÑt_tÒ_chàt_wÌth_mé

  • song is:: Telepopmusik Lyrics - Breathe

  • name song ?

  • @bLoodykNuklz i think snowboarding in general is pretty relaxing, nothing else is going through your head, pretty magical.

  • music ?

  • I wish that I could snowboard there. It looks so beautiful!

  • dude after this check your jacket... just in case. Anyway this is pretty amazing but it's not what i like in snowboarding...just my opinion...

  • Soo nice, love carving. And for all the enquiry, the song is Breathe - Télépopmusik

  • thts sweet lmao

  • that looks fucked man

  • and i thought snowblading was as low as it gets

  • what song is this? just believe?just breath? i like it!! anyone know who sings it?? this carving is crazy

  • thats what snowboarding is about.

  • now do this down a mogled icy peist.

guaranteed shitkicking with no messing about

  • i can only do this if im about to fall

  • That looks kinda cool. Gonna try this when I get on the mountain.

  • napping while snowboard... genius.

  • i love how you guys stop at the end lol

  • Although I ride F2 Speedster and made lot's of carvings I think this is a good demo. This is the last season for the F2 and I will definitely take a look at this manufacturer. Yes the F2 has a smaller base but that's very helpfull for a very fast switch to the next gravity powered turn (rrrrr I love that). Keep on making these kind of movie of The Art Of Snowboard Carving.

  • Seem more easy that it is...

  • that's looks kinda fail but awesome :D

  • surf-like, sick

  • "More shredded than a Julianne Salad man."

  • This is amazingly awesome and beautiful - great musical accompaniment!

  • This is amazingly awesome and beautiful - great musical accompaniment!

  • this is sick

  • Is that Freak`n talent or what git`n a rush by watching

  • des sieht so unelegant aus!

  • I get this takes skill, trust me I snowboard, and I dont think I could lay down when carving. But I also think that this just looks retarded.

  • @bLoodykNuklz Yeah, its also an inner pain that you get as you carve right infront of somone who is going about twice as fast as you.

  • beautiful simply beautiful

  • awesome! Great Job

  • why the fuck would anyone ride like this?!?!?

  • That is awesome, but i don't know if that is carving or controlled crashing

  • whats the intro song?

  • I wish I could carve like that!

  • looks so funny.thier like laying down on the snow

  • That looks awesome :))

  • can i do it with duckstance on a freetsyle board? looks fun!

  • Echt nice Performance bei perfekten Pistenverhältnissen! Als nächstes Board kann ich nur das VIRUS BlackDeath empfehlen!

  • I can do that! Really! I was at Whistler doing it!

  • super stylin'!!!!!! A++++

  • Swoard FTW!!!

  • isnt carving on a snowboard kinda like carving on a skateboard or longboard

  • what a boring video

  • this is amazing... all i can say..

  • Excellent carving technique!

  • Uaau!

  • What's the fun of this? I never got thatXD

  • Can one ride like this with soft boots and strappy bindings?

If not how about the K2 clicker?

    How about a ski boot?

Please can someone help me. I want to start doing this I found a used prior alpine board, I can't spend thousands on gear.

  • You can do it in soft boots and bindings, but not if you have toe or heal overhang. A stiff, responsive board will give you better edge control too.

You definitely CAN learn to carve on any board/boot setup, and you should! Angle your back knee forward in your stance, lean way forward, and cut instead of sliding.

Toe and heal drag reduce your lean angle, they will pop your edge out in the middle of a turn. Got to reduce that as much as possible.

  • looks sooooooooooo cool.. wish i could do that..

  • Telepopmusik - Breathe

  • the only reason u can carve like that is cus u got a alpine board. try it on a park board and ill be impressed

  • @691129004

You see, alpine snowboards are made for alpine snowboarding. As freestyle snowboards are made for freestyle snowboarding. There is no sense in riding alpine on a freestyle snowboard. Therefore, your comment is really stupid.

It's like if I said: "S. White is an asswipe cuz he doesn't ride halfpipe on an alpine board". It would be pretty stupid, right?

Just like that, disrespecting elite snowboarders, like the Swoard team, is really retarded.

  • @RenauIt you dont have to ride an alpine deck like a coiler or a donek to carve well. I ride a burton custom and I can carve pretty well in conditions that arent even near as good as they are in this video

  • @691129004 Fail

  • i am skiing half the winter and i have already seen a million snowboarers but only one every season doing real carving; just wonna say most of them dont care about carving and or are noobs ehhe.

  • wow i want to carve on my bellyyyyyyyy

  • yah...maybe some kind of experts...but there was not just one single lil bump on the sloap...i'll do the same including bumps since yrs...

    welcome to used sloaps...."experts" lol

  • fun, skill, style. Nothing too specific. racing, but thats usually more sliding. Most people like the G-force feeling

  • What's carving for? slowing down? speeding up? please reply!

  • slows you for more control

  • what kind of snowboard is it ?

  • @eksembarn Swoard.

  • whats the song?

  • breathe by telepopmusik (accent aigus on the "e"'s

  • Comment removed

  • F2 are too narrow boards, and they are not desgned for this kind of riding, but for races

  • well, I've seen that the Swoard are broader with a cut radius about 9 meters. Compared to my speedster they are more similar to my old asymmetrical Nidecker. Anyway...I just love carving at high speed ( whenever snow condition and people on the piste allows it ). Keep on posting beautiful stuff like that.

  • @dolomitiforever

right: i never seem to get up early enough to find perfectly groomed runs and totally empty slopes.

  • a F2 gs speedster or the SL version can help a lot

  • These snowboards are no longer manufactured

but nothing prevents played a very good free-ride

    style" Boarder-cross "

worry not see is normal! snowboarding is now the sheep jumps on tracks

  • Wow!! I never seen this kind of snowboarding before! this is sweet :)

  • oh my god !!

that's the vitelli turn !!! (serge vitelli is inventor )

    beautiful carving

practice less seen on runways in recent years

  • man, that's so cool.

Super race carving, but still cool. It definitely ain't easy to do.

  • Wow those boards must have some really sharp edges... I don't think they make those anymore...

  • @zakgrin they do.

its like the longboarding of skateboarding; its not popular, but it sure is fun!!!

  • Jimmymoss7644 No! You got that one wrong too. It should be 'father's'. That's a crap user-name you've got by the way. How about 'jimmycan'tspell'.

  • What's the name of that song

  • telepopmusic breathe

  • TTTThanX.....dude

Do you Ride on ...hard boot, soft or both ?

  • only soft but I'm beginner

  • i prefer freestyle snowboarding but this stuf is AWESOME!!!

  • anybody that thinks this is lame is retarded, you'd rip if you could do it all, everything is fun ya know.... but they could be bombing a lot harder, i have a kemper bullet 180 for sale anyone interested its fresh unwrapped never ridden never drilled.. heres the craigslist ad.. hit me up!

  • rediculous

  • @jimmymoss7644 Ridiculous. With an "i". Learn to spell.

  • lejosdeaqui7 lets see if i spell this right... go suck your fathers dick.thanks.

  • i own a board like this...but i can`t friggin` ride it...

  • thats too bad... ill take it off your hands ;)

  • what's the correct feet angolation??? 45/45 ??

  • for carving? around 45/45... some people run different angles... personalyl i like a 35/50, but my feet are pretty ducked out. on my freeride boards i run -25/30....

    goofy stance.

  • woa..there like lying sown on the floor...

  • I really need to get one of em before I die

  • insaine

  • Go..Jacques..I was Carving with Burton alpine boards in the early 90's
