how did you "strech" em to fit AK mags. I got a 6 mag pouch and They are crazy tight I cant get them to close over the top like that. The material doesnt seem to have much give too it. I might try soaking it in warm water and throwing the mags in and see it loosens it. Worked great for dads ar15 mags tho.

Thanks for the review, these are what I'm looking for. Are they the same ones Cheaper Than Dirt has? I like the velcro + the 2 buttons, I don't know if the ones they are selling are the same or not.

Scootch; what sort of AK is that? It appears to be an original AK-47. I'm no expert but from the all wood furniture and lack of muzzle device it appears to be an original AK.

in regards to AK mags, will it hold four Tapco 30 rounders as well? the only reason I ask is because they tend to be thicker than steel grade military mags

Hey do you know of any mag pouches available for SKS mags? I can't find any so I just use AR mag pouches and make it fit.

@JonBurnsArt It honestly depends on which item you want. Most of the FOX line is good to excellent. I decided not to sell a few of their products as I did not think they were of high quality.

Will the Dual Mag Pouch hold SKS Stripper clips too?

@macadily The pouch is a little too deep for SKS stripper clips. The best thing I've found is the Surplus Chinese Military Bandoleer for Stirppers. Frag grenade pouches might work as well. Thanks~

Like the vid man but i got a triple mag from Fox and it was not real great on retention (mags held kinda loose and noisey ) fell out while shooting crouched down. I have since relagated it for my 10/22 loadout. This one might be better but Fox is not my first choice for holding Ak 47 mags.

Sweet pouch, would have been interesting to how they stayed in there when reloading on the run, the problem I have had with dual mag pouches when war gaming is when your on the move and reloading I have had the other magazine wanting to jump out when running, plus the AR mags sit way too low for my taste but your mileage may very =)

Something to think about...

You want as much of your hand on that mag as you can get while extracting them.

Maybe putting Magpuls on all of the mags?

$16?!? That is a pretty sweet price for a "double-double" pouch of this type. My only wish is more colors. Coyote and/or dark earth would be much appreciated, but these are nice pouches either way. "...carrying great zombie preparation mode stuff!" I smiled on that one.

@marcelloviscardi We have a molle canteen pouch that will work the same way. It's military issue and produced for the military. Just go to our site and search (1174) without the ( ). That's the part number for it.
