  • I believe this is a PBS show with John Hammond opening for and then playing a duet set with the late great Robert Lockwood Jr. God keep you Mr. Lockwood...

Gunnr Thompson and the Mojo Boogie Band. Cleveland Ohio....

  • Hey JH, good as usual. I had your albums in my music store in Ojai CA and used to llisted to them and pick up the style. After many hours, I got some of the licks down. Then I met you backstage at the Backdoor Club in Ventura. Still have a pic of us. This was in the early seventies. Time flies, still the best.

    Q

  • the best in the world

  • You are amazing my man !!! Such a pleasant surprise :) Thank you!

  • Amazing! ;)

  • Now that is the blues! Fantastic.

  • I saw him last year in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He can still play and sing and hold an audience in thrall. There's nobody doing country blues like him. Magnetic performer.

  • John can play!
