I'm an Indian and almost all indians support Tibet issue. Its sad that India is not actively supporting Tibetan issue this time as it cannot afford active confrontation with china at this time in developmental economics. notice that they are only being lifted to stop demonstration and are not beaten. If you understand hindi, you can notice police personnel saying that be careful that they wont get hurt. Its only that when they demonstrate in front of chinese embassy, it needs to be controlled.

Not suprised that india is supporting Tibet, Indian was employed by UK to secretly mapping tibet in early 1900 (by making up themseves as pilgrim) and later on supported by CIA/NED to host Dala.
