  • am i the only one who noticed that the martini glass stem is bent?

  • u frget to put dry martini in it \

  • u frget to put dry martini in it

  • Your headlight's out.

  • Haha there are different gordons out there Bond took the very strong gin which i recomend it has 47.3 percent plus id use a stronger vodka with 50 percent alcohol! Absolut in Black bottle is pretty much availabel anywhere plus even though bond wanted it shaken id still stir it!

  • 2 drops of angostura bitter + rimming the glass with lemon will improve its taste i guess

  • Brilliant work!

Question 4 u, tho, if yr willing (no disrespect intended; height of rude 2 question how any pro does their job).

But I wonder what yr take is on Tanqueray vs Bombay's Sapphire?

This side of the pond (mostly Boston & NY), every single time I've put people up 2 a blind taste-test, Sapphire v Tanq, Sapphire wins... usually by huge margins, often unanimous.

Maybe the export versions ≠ yr own?

Or maybe we're just colonial upstarts w/ provincial tastes?

    Yr thoughts?

    Cheers

  • @smartalek1 Hi :-) I have to agree I personally also prefer the taste of Bombay Sapphire. The Tanqueray in the Vesper give more of the original taste of the Vesper as it was made but on a personal opinion if I was to choose a Gin to drink I would also most times go for Bombay Sapphire. I'm also a big fan of Hendricks gin which I find great as a Martini with a slice of Cucumber.

    Have fun

  • Accurate Vesper Martini. Good Job

  • it might as well be kina lillet...the closest ur gonna get to kina...n quinine powder...

  • hes right you didnt use kina lillet but other than that small slip good job

  • you can't get kina lillet anymore. so unless someone has an old bottle and you pay out the ass for it. you will never have a true vesper...which is very unfortunate.

  • yeah thats a good point

  • why shake it, if u strain it?!

  • You shake it to chill it. You strain it to make sure you don't get any small bits of ice in the drink.

  • Yeah, shaking ensures it gets colder quicker...and then strain to not allow the ice to pass through.

  • were is the martini???

  • hahah, u guys put so much effort into this little video, fucking great!!!!

  • you didn't use kina lillet, you used lillet blanc

  • it's the same product - renamed.

nice vid, although personally it breaks my heart to see any martini shaken.

  • No it isn't the same product, kina lillet have kinine and lillet blanc don't have it because that you can use some drop of angostura to obtain the similar bitter flavor of kinine.

  • its very odd to find the Kina lillet or the Lillet blanc, isn´t it ?

  • MAU, el kina lillet dejo de hacerse hace muchos años, en el 80 o fines de los 70's. El lillet blanc si se puede conseguir en alguna buena licoreria.

  • it is Spunick russian vodka an the wine is Lillet
