Hey i thought that was great for your first race. I have been riding for 6 months and started barrels when i started riding. My first rodeo is this saturday! i will put it on youtube so check it out! :) good job!
They only thing I see that you need to fix is just pull to your waist until you finish your barrel and just know go straight to your barrel and that will help and remember that your first barrel is your money barrel! so ALWAYS have a good first! if you have a nice smooth run it always makes u look good haha!! but good luck and good job for your first barrelrace!
i'd go a little sarper around the barrles and going to the third barrle. i know this becase i barrel race to i'm very good as a matter of fact. iget first plase all the time i'm a NBHA member (NBHA means national barrel horse association).
