@21stcenturyphantom On a secret mission to get some potatoes from Macaskills on Caberfeidh Road. The video kicks in on the return journey along Newton Street.
@aktoman No sorry I should have been more specific. I mean where have you been since your last video! Your wild camping in the Cairngorms with the Honey Stove was what convinced me to go get one. Do you still go wild camping?
@21stcenturyphantom Afraid not, 21stCP. Since blowing my leg out and being immobilised for a month, the thrill of the outdoors wore off and I found myself putting more energy into enjoying work instead of looking forward to getting out at the weekend. I've never been one for finding a happy balance.
@aktoman Well that's a shame that you don't wild camp anymore but its a good thing you enjoy your work, but happy balances can be found I think. A leisurely morning walk around a loch or on an afternoon stroll on a trail can be just as much fun as a full on backpacking trip! I digress, its not my place to tell you these things. All the best with your work and I'll be sure to stay subscribed. :)
@21stcenturyphantom I've a 2hr drive out of Aberdeen, heck even Bennachie is an hour away, and the numpties on the road do my head in. All excuses I know, but I can just pull up the playlist of happy sights and sounds in my brain, and press 'play' and I'm back there, without all the aggro and concerns. Still, the new teaching year kicks in in the middle of August, and it'd only take me a couple of hours to dust off the kit and get away to see the deer and the hear the grouse.

@tidewavextream87 It's a fine place to visit, TWX. But then so are many places in the world that are nice and so little time to get to them all.
