It was inspired by Twilight (Confirmed by GameInformer on an interview) The Capcom department merged with the company that fabricated Ninja Gaiden to produce this shit reboot of the amazing Dante of DMC 1, 2, 3 and 4. What you see in this trailer is a disgrace. Twilight ruined yet another amazing thing. Fuck you who say otherwise. Its not like they ONLY fucked Dante on this. So much has changed and when it is released, you will see first hand.

Well, like you said, it's your opinion....I know that the reason this game excists and is in development, is because Capcom Japan has a huge respect for Ninja Theory as a higly talented development house.
Capcom Japan wanted to work with Ninja Theory on a project, which is DmC.
You are also right about the game probably not selling without the Devil May Cry name, history will tell you that Ninja Theory is one of the most underrrated developers out there and their games of the past are all high quality full of fantastic character animation with the best real-time cut scenes ever created, still their games are all extremely underrated and don't sell well...
I guess people today rather play cheesy overrated crap like Modern Warfare then truly beautifull games, I for one can't wait for Ninja Theory's final version of DmC.

We have seen barely any footage of the game, let alone cutscenes, so I don't see where he's crying. No combat mechanics can outclass the Swordmaster,Gunslinger,Doppleganger,Trickster and Royal Guard styles.

Okay I'm keeping an open-mind towards this game but dammit I have something to say. This is a REBOOT, not a prequel. They admitted it doesn't take place after OR before the other games. They admitted this Dante was the son of a demon AND a angel, not a Half-Demon. Furthermore as for the "this is before he had white hair". In the anime (set between 1 and 4) we see a picture of Dante as a kid and he HAD WHITE HAIR!! Again I'm keeping an open-mind to this game. Just get it that through your heads

New "Dante" is actually a sociopathic, sadistic, paranoiac, who believes himself to be the real Dante and lives out such beliefs in his dream state he refers to as "Limbo" which is actually his perspective on his own manic episodes. My guess is he will be saved by some demon magic mcguffin that [the real] Dante must get by backtracking the previous levels in the game.

Nice song, but it doesn't fit the game... DMC music should encourage you to fight, not to feel melancholic... It is a good game, nice graphycs, etc, but its no DMC. And besides, that kid isn't Dante (he doesn't even had Dante's mother's amulet that he did have during DMC 3).
In spite of everything, I must say I liked it, but it's just another game of CAPCOM, not the Masterpiece we love.

And they have redesigned him a little... besides the gameplay for this does look pretty epic but he just doesn't seem the same... his looks mainly. but his personality, may have changed too. I hope not. Gues well just have to wait and see. If he still a rude bastard with a habit of mouthing people off we still have Dante.

And fighting schematics in this one is obviously inferior to the original. May have better effects due to newer technologies applied compared to DMC4 way back in 2009, but not necessarily the combat.
No combat mechanics can outclass the Swordmaster,Gunslinger,Doppleganger,Trickster and Royal Guard styles.

Okay I'm keeping an open-mind towards this game but dammit I have something to say. This is a REBOOT, not a prequel. They admitted it doesn't take place after OR before the other games. They admitted this Dante was the son of a demon AND a angel, not a Half-Demon. Furthermore as for the "this is before he had white hair". In the anime (set between 1 and 4) we see a picture of Dante as a kid and he HAD WHITE HAIR!! Again I'm keeping an open-mind to this game. Just get it that through your heads

New "Dante" is actually a sociopathic, sadistic, paranoiac, who believes himself to be the real Dante and lives out such beliefs in his dream state he refers to as "Limbo" which is actually his perspective on his own manic episodes. When he gains control of this "dream state" his appearance changes to reflect his belief (to be more like Dante himself)

Nice song, but it doesn't fit the game... DMC music should encourage you to fight, not to feel melancholic... It is a good game, nice graphycs, etc, but its no DMC. And besides, that kid isn't Dante (he doesn't even had Dante's mother's amulet that he did have during DMC 3).
In spite of everything, I must say I liked it, but it's just another game of CAPCOM, not the Masterpiece we love.
