@billyanhiers first off dont get the yamaha sg your better off getting an esp viper they are amazing guitars second all p90s humm because they are single coil pickups and third they dont sound like a hummbucker but they dont soumd like a single coil they are somewere in the middle hope this helps you.

@billyanhiers P90s hum because they're single coils. They won't sound like humbuckers, but they also don't sound like single coils. You get a sound that's kind of in the middle. You can get rid of a good deal of hum by shielding the guitar. That's how I get my guitars to stop humming and buzzing. If you don't know what I mean by shielding, take it to a pro to get it done
