  • Didn't the oooold Jeeps have such vacuum motors for their wipers ?

  • i only read the comments looking for russia and chuck norris jokes. the blending comments are getting old

  • Bu ve bunun gibi 3 boyutlu çalışmalarınız yapılır arkadaşlar. kaansan com dan ulaşabilirsiniz.

  • but, will it blend?

  • looks kind of like a steam engine!

  • Wind shield wiper motor lol

  • 1 stroke?

  • thats awesome!

  • Looks like my windshield wiper motor.....

  • this is another complicated steam engine. i wonder how it would work in real world. or if it would out put enough to run a car. wold be a very nice to see it in cars on the streets.. your next objective is you invent a turbo system for it..

  • Typical vacuum windshield wiper motor used since the late 1920's! :)) Somebody just thought to hook a bunch of linkage to it to turn a flywheel...

  • @lrover03 That's nicely observed. I didn't think of it.

  • I believe it is called a curved cylinder steam engine, I have seen others like it with the same name that were similar. The valve gear is really something!

  • I seen a water pump using a swinging vane like this the outlet pressure wasnt needed to be great since it was used just to fill buckets

  • must be hard to get that air tight

  • This is almost like a double action steam engine. Execpt the piston is a flab of metal

  • that valve mechanism is ridiculous all you going to get is float so make a direct connection

  • @TheIceychill2 its the steveinson valve they are used in steam trains

  • No it's far from the stephenson's valve gear used on locomotives, very far.

  • boston museum of science?

  • eu acho que tem que ter uma vauvula no reptorno da manivela ou pistão ele cria um vacuo

  • very nice design...wonder how many rpm's would be possible?

  • Also is similar to the Trico vacuum operated windshield wiper motors of classic cars.

  • it is the same principle that uses the steam engine.

In fact, that IS a steam enginem there's no sparkplug, only one steam intake and one exaust

  • @isamu2040 I wouldn't call it a steam engine explicitly. Theoretically it would work with almost any gas. Including steam. Although, being a railroader myself, my first thought was "Well that is an unusual kind of valve gear." (Valve gear is what turns the expansion of steam into the mechanical energy that moves a steam locomotive)

  • i don't see how this thing works is one intake one exhaust? or they act as both?

  • @latingmc the bottom one looks to be exhaust

  • how about putting the hopmepage in a clickable link in the side bar?
