i just saw it, and it's a nice story, and not some over the top action movie. I know that some circus directors were real asholes, but i never knew that they would kill their employees by trowing the of a riding train, so that part is bulshit in this story, but it's a movie about someones life in a circus, so they had to blow up the story a bit, so that it won't become a dull and boring story.

I really don't think this movie is going to do the book justice at all. I know that the movie is never quite as good, but I just really don't think these two actors are the characters in the book. Jacob is supposed to be a red-head that looks like a virgin, and Marlena is supposed to be a dirty-blonde petite girl, not platinum blonde. But besides the hair color, the actors just don't seem to suit the characters. :(
I watched this yesterday and wow it was really good. I do recomend watching this, and Robert was so much better then he is in twilight and Reese just shines. One of the best movies I've watched this year

You are correct. When the script was written, it proofed to be distracting and interrupting to have the two characters. They merged uncle Al into August, who is the ringmaster. Critics have confirmed it was the right thing to do and are very pleased with the flow of the script now. It was listed in best scripts of the year, so we have to have faith.

Nope. It has nothing in common besides an older person tells a story of his life and two lovers. WFE is much deeper story than Titanic, and has additional material about the love for animals. You would never say that if you had read the book. It is amazing literature.

I haven't read the book, though I've been hearing about it for years. It looks interesting and I wish, for once, people would give Rob a chance.

The book was underwhelming. The movie (I'm sure) will be visually stunning, but the overall story is lacking. At least Hollywood is attempting to do something new. Awesome casting of August though. I wonder who'll play Uncle Al?

okay well this looks like a good movie but hey they should like let reese and chris take at least SOME of the credit. all i hear is robert patinson robert pattinson robert pattinson!! i mean i love rpattz to death but you gotta see the other wonderful actors in the movie not just him. AND PLEASE DONT BRING TWILIGHT INTO THIS....im a twifan myself but you gotta let go and realize that they are going to do different parts and not just stay in Twilight all they're lives.
