Uhm.. This game definitely isn't a sequel to the previous Musashi installment for the PSX. This game wasn't what I had expected but I really enjoyed it. I was glad that they changed up the mimicing ability a bit and tweaked the fighting to be a bit more faced paced. I really hope they make another Musashi game. Would be interesting to see what they come up with

weirdest square enix game i've ever played...and i thought musashi's hair was freaking weird! i guess square totally cant come up with a creative hair style, and the acting is HORRIBLE! the voice i most hate in that game is musashi it totally doesnt fit and its annoying..

well this game is the supposed "sequal" to Brave Fencer Musashi, and yes, it sucked, especially Musashi's voice, but the original game for PS1 was AWESOME

though the graphics sucked. If you can find the game(it was SquareSoft made) play it. the story is simalair, but much-much-much better. This game was a rip-off version

they say musashi samurai legend is based on a japanese comic book thats why it's a cell shade graphics and it's looks too diffrent compared to the first one.

There is another version of this intro in which the stuff said at the beginning was different and Musashi fails to catch the princess.

The intro was done by Gainax Studios really. It says so in the game's manual.

yes because gainax is a single magical animation making entity and isn't composed of various people often with their own unique styles.

the key animation was done by Gainax employee Hiroyuki Imaishi, who did a bunch of work for other studios too. like animating a really short fight scene in Shaman King's OP in the exact same art/animation style.

Production I.G. animated the intro. They do a lot of Gainax stuff, including FLCL and Gurren Lagaan.
