@luvcheney1 Yes, I do - He wants to bring back the gold standard (short term is bad - long term is good) - He's for smaller government, legalizing drugs for adults, and I like his ideas on international affairs - He wants to end both wars and bring home ALL of your troops - The one thing i disagree with is his ideas on Health Care (which surprises me - since he's a doctor), but his argument for this makes sense with church sponsored hospitals for free health care. he a Libertarian.

@Bawbster1 OK, surprise me, make a conservative argument on something. I missed it. There are Doctors who know Govt HealthCare systems function with price controls as the central cost control method. Price controls have been used in many areas, over many centuries, with the same results. Shortages. This is represented through "supply- demand model" ( graph), which everyone claims to know, and do not.

@luvcheney1 Working in a bank, I see the same people on welfare every month - they can't get a job over 10 fucking years?!? - The problem is, that it becomes generational, the kids grow up watching the parents sitting on their asses all day watching TV, the kids think this is normal. Thus, they become welfare trash also. Don't dare take it away from them though, then they'll be breaking into your house stealing. What's wrong with food stamps? Just don't give them cash to spend anyway they like.

@luvcheney1 Happy? Also, giving kids who get pregnant more money for nothing? It's like reward for fucking up... a career advancement for these people is having more illegitimate kids. In the 1950s, if a woman got pregnant, the guy would get a job and support the kid, or the family of the mother would chip in, thus it didn't happen as often, now we reward them for getting pregnant at 16 by giving them money with no recourse, and no end in sight for the gravy train that is welfare.

But every one can also get sick, which may not be any fault of their own, which is why I think that you shouldn't have to pay for medical attention. Taxes can take care of certain things, but should be used for others. You should go to hospital to get well, not to add to your debt.

@luvcheney1 The bills would still get paid - Trust me - this worked in the past and can work now - You would see more honest reporting from both the conservative and liberal media. No one would have to work for free. If the FCC (CRTC in Canada) demanded that every broadcaster must do this - it would get done. TV revenues are huge - but News, to be unbiased shouldn't have it - it can work - don't believe me - check out DEMOCRACY NOW - news without advertisers or corporate sponsors. it works

@Bawbster1 It took me 90 seconds to see that "Democracy Now" has a Lib bias. There isnt anythinjg wrong with that, but even though it may not have advertisers, it most certainly is biased. All news is biased. Even if an article is 100% neutral, its inclusion, and the exclusion of other articles and subjects injects bias. Who cares?

I'd like to think that some Republicans out there are open minded or progressive in their ideals. Not all Republicans dismiss evolution. That is a more "progressive" idea than taking the bible word for word... Would you call those Republicans Democrats or Liberals? But they are more progressive than some - see what I mean?

What if I want into a group that excludes high cost insured with expensive, pre existing conditions, or doesnt let kids stay on till 26 yrs of age? ObamaCare mandates many conditions, eliminating choice. I will be forced, to cooperate. ObamaCare mandates cutting $500 billion from MediCare, to pay for Obamacare, you MORE coverage? By fucking over MediCare?

@luvcheney1 Then that's your choice. If you want to continue with the coverage you had through your employer, or whatever, that will still be available to you. What "Obamacare" will ensure, is that may more people will have coverage, which is what they were aiming for. Not saying it's perfect... What they should've done was copy what France has done, but France seems to be a four letter word in the US the past few years.

I have a personal policy, and it is no longer going to be offered. It is "grandfathered" in for those who are ALREADY in, but nobody will EVER have the opportunity to buy insurance that excludes people already so fucked up it will cost a goddamn fortune to insure. Rates are higher, for worse insurance, in Ca, with Anthem, largest ins corp. You lie.
