this song is so strong. my dad got me into waylon jennings. im much more open musically thanks to my dad. all i used to listen to was metal (i still do and always will) but waylon was an exellent song writer. but what happened to country. its all poppy and mainstream now. the shits on the pop charts now next to people like lady gaga. its not country western anymore its country alternative pop. what a shame.

Heavily manufactured with young country singer to afraid to stand up for what they believe in and allowing rich music moguls to dictate where there music should be going. May be when it comes to Waylon i like the Waylon that i grew up with well since the late 60's early 70s and i do prefer the original, but Waylon was always progressive

waylon did a better job on the "remix" of this song than the original in my opinion...this version has more meaning to it...i believe waylon knew his end was coming and wanted his final album to reflect himself as he was...a beautiful collection to say the least...we all miss you waylon
