Wow. Simply amazing tone!! I love this piece already, have listened to it loads on here as I'm about to learn it for my gr 8 :) Wish I had your sound xx
3. Your tonguing in Allegro part is excellent, well matching with the rhythmic feeling. But in contrast, I suggest you can play those legato parts (i.e. the 15 bars after the Poco meno) in a more legato, expressive, less heavy way.
4. And I will play the a Tempo part in a faster tempo like the starting temp.
Overall, you've done a great job! You tone is beautiful. I played this piece in my Grade 8 exam and would like to share some of my points of view
1. For Sarabande part, I like to play those semi-quavers in bar 7 & 8 (e.g.) in a more smooth way, like triplets rather than a semi-quavers, because it will give me more feeling like a dance music.
2. Sarabande part again. Overall, I will try my best to play it in a more legato, expressive way. Not heavy even in those stacatto part or demisemiquaver.
el sonido no es el de la grabación de video.

Thank you for the kind comments.
Since playing this piece my daughter has changed her saxophone from a Selmer Serie II to a Buffet S1 which gives a lot nicer sound.
All the best with your Grade 8.

wow, this is really good :)
I hear Christian Forshaw has released a new CD of French saxophone music, and this is on it.
I've yet to purchase it.
How are you?

I played it yesterday, but she did things that there aren't in the score, bu it is good and the piece is very beautiful.
