Check out the red band trailer; the kids seem less like suburban punks and more like street thugs. The profanity adds the element that leaves the green band trailer looking like wanna-be tough guys. Factor in the weed-room and it frames a better idea of what the movie will be. With a PSA of 15k-20K it will do some expanding here in the states; thats good I believe this looks like a cool flick. I wanna see/hear what a south London ghetto youth looks and sounds like!

Having never been to the UK that was my question; I guess I wanted to know if this was a group of kids from such films as E.T. or The Goonies or if these were suppose to be kids like Boyz in the Hood. It is not racial but with an R rating it seemed a stretch to make it teen/tween angst. I think it looks cool and totally dig the idea of action genre from a foreign market. I am keeping an eye on the PSA and with high enough numbers I can push my indie theatre to pick it up.
Saw this the day it came out fucking funny the cinima was packed and there way a guy getting up to go to the toilet and the part were he look's throught the keyhole came and and when the monseter flew out at it the guy fell over everyone lol plus it's not at all hard to understand
If you're lucky, man. A theater near your area could be showing the film. I live near San Francisco, and I saw this movie at the Metreon just the other day. I have to say, that it has got to be my favorite movie this year. lol. I was happy that they released this into the US, now i'm hoping they'll release the new, Inbetweeners film in the US this august. Anywho, good luck on finding the film near your area, man.
GREAT MOVIE.... I wasnt expecting to see what I saw as I never saw the trailer..... I was extremely impressed by the acting, story, writing, and delivery of the cast. These boys are very talented.... ESPECIALLY 'MOSES' character.... 9.5 out of 10....

I do not know the question. I want the movie to expand wider than the six cities in the US. An international box office tally of $3.1M is not that great and consumers in the states could help your home grown product make money. @damenchipguy Well obviously this film was made to be funny. But there are tough inner city hoods all over London. If aliens did invade a south london housing estate they would be met with alot more than 5 youts with bats and knives. It be more like gangs of 30 black gangbangers and drug dealers...which in my opinion would have made this movie alot better. But it's a movie your not meant to take this "ruthless street gang" seriously.

@transformersHD2009 you really shouldn't be concerned about the slang because americans can undestand it pretty easily. what you should be concerned about is how properly the people in the movie speak because for 1 it's a little too proper to understand and two no one's gonna take it seriously that these are urban kids in a tough neighborhood when they sound like they just came from 4 o'clock tea. this movie looks like joke and need a lot of work, good luck with it.

The U.S. has spent so much time being the center of attention, where people wanted to aspire to come here and be like us, that It's hard for Americans to do same and look outside ourselves and our country.
