The Aztec Jaguar Knights were the bane of Mesoamerica. Their training coupled with the extremly deadly obsidian blades would have easily trumped tribesmen. The Zande's have a spear and a 'better' close range weapon? The Aztecs counter with the Huitzauhqui club and Topeztopilli spear. A trained killing professional would dominate a worse armed tribeman.

This match is very unfare, the Jaguar Knights was from 15th-16th century and the Zande Warrior from 19th century (300 years of advantage), and the result was almost a draw, in addition the aztec weapons wasn`t disigned to kill.
the Aztecs faced disciplined armies, the Zande only arab merchants and enemy tribes, they never fought with real soldiers.
I enjoyed this episode. Sure the jaguars weren't completely accurately shown, but come on it's an entertainment show. Zandes would win anyway, iron beats stone anyday. Blak Powa!!!!!!!

@kingofladies04 You can't say "perhaps it help", the army of Tlaxcalan Confederacy, plus totonac rebels and other city-states armies was very important in the fall of the Triple Alliance (Aztec Confederacy). Cortes won, but not because his weapons or desease...he won because his diplomatic ability built a huge army and the sophisticated Spanish tactics and strategies were the best in the 16th century (if you were in a besieged city with no food or water, you would be sick too).

First of all you racist people need to stop. The Zande were powerful warriors with superior iron weapons compared to the Aztecs. The Zande also had a great empire, they ruled most the Congo, Southern Sudan and the Central African Republic, that is an area comparable if not larger than the size of the Aztec empire. They were also a powerful warrior society and they would win.

This match is very unfare, the Jaguar Knights was from 15th-16th century and the Zande Warrior from 19th century (300 years of advantage), and the result was almost a draw, in addition the aztec weapons wasn`t disigned to kill.
the Aztecs faced disciplined armies, the Zande only arab merchants and enemy tribes, they never fought with real soldiers.
In conclusion...Aztec Jaguar rules

@DARVGH1 Im not saying stone sucks. Obsidian is very, sharp, but steel and iron are stronger, and stone can win, but all around, iron is better. Aztecs had the biggest empire in central america and one of the biggest on earth at the time, but cortes and his goons come in and destroy an empire outnumbering them by thousands. Yet, Zande warriors beat down every slave trader that tried to mess with them. This show is sometimes wrong but not here. La noche triste was mostly bcuz of aztec #s

@kingofladies04 Cortés didn't conquer the aztecs because his guns, that was a advantage, but not the real reason, the defeat of the aztec empire was for the alliance between Cortés and the another tribes that hated the aztec domination, many conquered tribes joined to this alliance, another reason was the incompetence of Moctezuma II, that cannot face the attack, later his dead, was Cuahutemoc that reorganized the army and resisted the spanish

@kingofladies04 You can't say "perhaps it help", the army of Tlaxcalan Confederacy, plus totonac rebels and other city-states armies was very important in the fall of the Triple Alliance (Aztec Confederacy). Cortes won, but not because his weapons or desease...he won because his diplomatic ability built a huge army and the sophisticated Spanish tactics and strategies were the best in the 16th century (if you were in a besieged city with no food or water, you would be sick too).

It sounded as though DARVGH1 was trying to say the Tlaxcalans did it on their own to soften them, while the spanish did it on their own. My bad.
