Jewel QUIT her job to focus on the music, like her dad did, and lived in her van to keep costs down.
People doing drugs get caught they go to jail. A hospital that does that loses their license, gets sued, all sorts of things.

I've never been a Jewel fan, but I watched a Soundstage show with her upfront playing and singing with mainly just her guitar. Her voice is feather light, and clear. She has real talent.
