  • I ate there a few times when I vacationed. Food was great! Just saw it on Hawaii 5-0, sigh... I miss Hawaii!

  • Ok this place.. is terrible ):

    I'm French and hated it.

  • This is one of my favorite places in Waikiki. We eat there every time we're in Honolulu.

  • gosh, I used to visit this place for my really late dinner. lol

  • @rocksdave2008 And it NEVER changes!

  • my mom meatloaf loco moco...so bomb.

  • Ooooweeee. This is the first place I visit during our port visits to Hawaii. Nothing like a loco moco after being out in the ocean and eating garbage navy food for three months.

  • Well, there's nothing like a loco moco period! But here's hoping your next port visit is soon

  • i go by there all the time.... never been there

  • Love the place! When I'm in Honolulu, I might eat there three or four times in a week!

  • i swear putting egg on top of a rice based dish is an Asian thing. We love the flavor of eggs mixed with our rice.

  • Hawaii was heavily influenced by Chinese, Japanese and Philipine immigration and the food has borrowed from many Asian cultures.

  • ah.... Wailana Coffee House, my husband and I ate there about 4 times in the week we were in Honolulu.. the prices were great, good food.. and right next door to the hotel we stayed at.

  • This place isn't as good as it looks. I've ate here twice back in 2005 and never came back since. The food over here is just too processed for my taste. I'd prefer I Love Country Cafe. (One of the best places to eat on the islands! )

  • To each their own I suppose, but I've been going to Wailana off and on for more than twenty years and I'll keep going there every time I get back to Honolulu.

  • I suggest you try "I love Country Cafe" and "Big City Dinner." Those 2 places are the bomb! I'm serious the food is better quality and just over all better tasting and DELICIOUS!!! :)

  • The food was good here. The service sucked, but the food was typical mainland fare, and at mainland prices, which is a good thing in expensive Honolulu. Definitely get the Loco Moco.

  • OMG! Went there 11 years ago. Best Pancakes in the world...mmmmm, with Coconut Syrup.

  • a great place to eat, i will go again on next visit

  • I love this place so much I end up eating a few meals there every time I'm in Honolulu! It's as good today as it was when I first went as a kid some twenty odd years ago

  • wow. Yo estuve ahí.

    Gracias por este video.

    J-Lu

  • Hmm...Irene Cara...someone is an 80's child! Aloha From Hawaii Nei! Malama Pono! -The Red Cup-

  • That obvious, huh?!? ;-p

  • To all travelers! SPAM is Hawaiian Steak! heheheh :o]

  • I've got it on the list for our trip next january but what is with the horrible music??

  • If it's any consolation, they don't play this song in the restaurant! However, Hot Lunch is from the soundtrack of the 80's movie Fame. I thought it was kind of fitting!

  • Ok that is some consolation =)

    Mahalo!

  • i ate there when i went there i liked it:)

  • that is the best breakfast in Waikiki...

the all u can eat pancakes is the bomb....

  • Wailana is pretty much the best ANY meal in Waikiki, but I'm glad you liked it there!
