  • we are all sausages

  • Damn, damn it all to HELL!

Please come back. We promise to be better, swear it!

  • I've been quoting this for 15years!

  • Looks like eraserhead

  • If only they made one last show...

  • Jon Lajoah sandman hear!!

  • Jonlajoie sent me here...why did he do that to me? T.T

  • @MrRiotpopper

Everyone makes mistakes. He usually has pretty good taste.

  • MC vagina

  • jonlajoie brought me here

  • MC Vagina brought me here

  • "sausages are good, we are all sausages" lol

  • we're all sausages

  • This really needs to somehow be released without the inane laughtrack.

  • Who the fuck puts syrup on a sausage. That's just gross.

  • @PsychoJosh ...says someone who has never had syrup on sausages.

  • Comment removed

  • @PsychoJosh Lots of people. Its goddamned delicious. Try it.

  • @rickygervais1776 Um, I did, I wrote a post saying my experience with syrup-covered sausages below, can't you read? They're fucking disgusting.

  • @PsychoJosh The way you phrased it implied that you had never tried it. My sincerest apologies.

  • Laughter track needs to fuck off and die

  • David Lynch presents Jimmy Dean.

  • I'm eating sausages and syrup right now. :P

  • It's a lot more 1984 than Eraserhead, really.

  • Have you ever done Acid? Or, are all you Canadians this way? My love to you all!...

  • @bluebassett2 It's in the beer!

  • ew XD

  • The best Kids in the Hall skit! HILARIOUS!!! I was laughing so hard, I think I woke the neighbors!

  • Looks like sausages for supper tonight...

  • SAUSAGES!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1984 is the most depressing book Ive ever read.

    Still a good read though.

  • Lol its like 1984...except with sausages

  • @charbroiledmonk1033 That's what I was thinking. LOL! Orwell would

    giggle.

  • haha, i've watched this before and never noticed the 'we are all sausages' line at the end, brilliant sketch.

the 'each day we work' sketch is similar in tone, love that one as well.

  • where's the syrup?

  • This really didn't need a laugh track.

  • This has got to be one of the greatest KTH sketches EVER! Scott Thompsons acting and Bruces no lines in this is why it was so brilliant!

  • This is obviously their take on Orwell s 1984. The story line is exactly the same...Well,except for the sausages part!!!

  • @andy65guitar i see it , read the book not to long ago , only difference is he is not totally broken at the end , in his mind he still has hope , 84 was a little more depressing

  • Comment removed

  • @borninhel1 Yeah it more like the beginning of the book. He pines for this woman but he can't have her. The whole "Sausages and old man thing", is just the guys bouncing weird ideas back and forth but you have to see 1984 in the skit? Eraserhead is a good point too! Very industrial and dark and depressing. And funny!!

  • omg This was my absolute favorite sketch. I must have been a messed up kid.

  • wow?! beautifully done. i hadn't really realized the intensity of Bruce's existential darkness. I wonder how many times he's watched Eraserhead.

  • Possibly the best art film ever made.

  • My favorite KITH sketch!!!!

  • how many people felt like the word "sausages" didn't mean anything at all at the end of this sketch..?

  • @kontroledkos or did it mean everything?

  • @thesnobsupreme ...true...thats so true...

  • Scott Thompsons most acerbic off the wall character ever..effin' brilliant

  • Eraserhead anyone?

  • HOW MANY TIMES HE SAY SAUSAGES?

  • "Sauuuusagesssss..."

  • I feel like Brazil and City of Lost Children and some Tim Burton crack and some German expressionism got thrown in a blender, and this is what came out. It doesn't make me laugh out loud, but it's deliciously weird.

  • @threescoreandten For me it's like Kafka laid eggs in David Lynch's pineal gland. Well, that might be overselling it a little.

  • What the fuck?

  • I think Bruce McCulloch must be a huge David Lynch fan.

  • @razorlikeblue watch?v=sTOuzn5tmvU

  • @jessemaurais Thank you for that

  • man some Scott Thompson characters are epic in their whackiness..this is one of his best lol

  • 'The main thing is that there is sausage - to go with the moonshine.'

~ Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin discussing his in-flight meal with Sergei Korolyov prior to launch. April 12, 1961

  • sausages

  • The laugh track kinda ruins it... stupid Americans needing a laugh track to know when to laugh..

  • @wario22 and by americans you mean canadians

  • @wario22 -- it's a live studio audience.

  • @threescoreandten Stupid Americans laughing at the wrong time.

  • @wario22 Yet another bitter, asshole, toffee-toothed limey spouting their petty anti-American sentiment. We broke free from your pissant rule, deal with it, you sad, inbred monarchy worshipping jagoff.

  • @wario22 The show was Canadian, the audience was Canadian. Get shit on Eurofag.

  • Soylent Green is people!

  • I'm amazed how moving his work is. So dark and deeply stirring while also inspiring a laugh.

  • I think that old guy likes sausages.

  • you can tell that even if they weren't so damn funny, they still could've done some great things

  • this is one of my favourite sketches, me and my younger sisters got attached to this years ago, when it first aired. ahh the memories! these guys are awesome, i'm glad the rest of the world didnt steal and corrupt them, their show was great and still is. all still relevant and daamn funny. KITH forever! we are lucky to be able to grow up on this stuff.....;D

  • What happens when you give Bruce a huge budget? Something awesome and sausagey.

  • It's funny, weird, and creepy all at once...

  • def written by bruce and awesome

  • this video still haunts me to this day....

  • oh scot... >< U

  • I uesd to watch this late at night on HBO in the 90's and its still is funny as hell

  • This skit always reminds me of Kafka for some odd reason...funny.

  • I always loved this skit!

    WHERE'S MY SAUSAGES!!!!

It's so surrealistic and a bit David Lynch thrown in!

It reminds me of Eraserhead and the scenes with him walking to the factory...

  • @PinkPudding1

Yea totally like Eraserhead. That's what I thought too.

  • @marleyhund777 thought the exact same thing

  • I always loved this skit!

    WHERE'S MY SAUSAGES!!!!

It's so surrealistic and a bit David Lynch thrown in!

  • Jimmie Dean, look at what you did. I hope you're happy.

  • This skit is humanity's greatest achievement.

Moon landing, back of the bus.

  • This is so Eraserhead. :)

  • @Eragarev Oh totally, only in color and far preferable. Very David Lynch inspired.

  • This was one of the most bizarre, yet hilarious skits on KITH. :-)

  • Set in a dystopian future society. It features a man (McCulloch) who works at a sausage factory and falls in love with a woman who works there kissing the boxes so they have the company's lipstick logo. Too nervous to talk to her, the man, who had stolen some sausages for his crazy, sausage-obsessed father (Thompson), leaves them on her doorstep and leaves. Knowing he can never lead a normal life while caring for his gibbering idiot father, he resigns himself to loneliness.

  • @smagmatits uh......thanks

  • @smagmatits uh.....ok

  • Brilliant in a way that's barely graspable. I've always wanted to learn the story behind the creation of this singular video.

  • 1:48

  • he looks around the room for the syrup and its right in front of him

  • David Lynch would be proud.

  • It's like 1984!

  • WE ARE ALL SAUSAGES

  • KITH was the only thing worth watching when I was kid. All we had was CBC over the air, no cable. so this was the only really entertaining show to watch. Living in the North of Canada is very bleak at times, the Kids captured that essence in bits like this.

  • The 27 people who gave this a thumbs down must of ran out of S A U S A G E S!!

  • when i first saw this as a teenager i was so confused and disturbed lmao.

  • Ya know... The music in the factory really conveys the feeling of dread and tension of working in a place like that.. And i've worked in a few factories in my day...

  • it reminds me of eraser head, with sausages

  • Sauss-E-Jezz

  • Mem-O-ries...

  • Everytime im at the diner I order a side plate of sausages exactly how Scott says it at 3:54.

  • @Timoth1983 Rofl

  • Watching these shows growing up in new jersey was a godsend in the late 80s + early 90s. Just pure genius! Not just comedy, but true art. SNL could never come close to what these freaks were doing.

  • the nostalgia, it burns!

i think this was the single defining moment of my childhood

  • Bruce was not a kid, he was the kid.

  • deep?

  • this is absolutely brilliant in a special way

  • Set in a dystopian future society. Too nervous to talk to her, the man, who had stolen some sausages for his crazy, sausage-obsessed father (Thompson), leaves them on her doorstep and leaves. • @smagmatits brilliant description man !

  • @smagmatits and your a fucker!

  • @dmuse1981 ty

  • bruce definitely had to have written this one. he's into eraserhead big time.

  • I grew up on this stuff...no wonder my head is so twisted now.

  • @dildonahuge this+mst3k+pee wee's playhouse+hey verne it's ernest+liquid television= a generation with some twisted sausagey minds

  • The Canadian Eraserhead.

  • David Lynch couldn't have done a better job!

  • Scott likes to suck on syrup covered sausages!

This sketch is weird, but I love it.

    KITH forever.

  • pure genius.

  • @Artfryne completely agree

  • so weird.....

  • does anybody know where i can find the one with Kevin playing a married man, and dreaming about having an affair with his maid?

  • @NapalmWeed Me too thats one of my favorites.

I love the part where Scott is pawing at the window in desperation in this skit.

  • @NapalmWeed Try: Kids in the Hall - Maria

  • @ahorvath90 you are a gentlemen and a scholar sir, many thanks.

  • I saw this 15 years ago as a kid and whenever I hear sausages I think of it

  • I guess I'm not the only one who has this stuck in my memory after seeing it maybe 20 years ago, it's the first sketch that pooped up in the search under kith. This manages to be artsy and spoof artsiness and be funny and entertaining all at once.

  • @blackadder3 oops I mean popped, could've pooped up though

  • "...we are all sausages"

  • This is such fucking genius.. I always said that KITH was ahead of their time, and this shit from 20 years ago is STILL ahead of the CURRENT time .

  • . . . . . . . . . . .

  • when i first saw this when i was 11, i really believed canadian life was this bleak and meaningless.

  • @gorisan202

Only on parliament hill my friend. ; )

  • @gorisan202 it isnt?

  • @smittty1911 it is. i live here. and i'm out of sausagezzzzz. please help. I'll even accept snausages for dogs. anything. thank you for your support.

  • @gorisan202

During the NHL lock out it was....

    I kid, I kid

  • @gorisan202 it still is lol!

  • @gorisan202 it is man...it is...

  • @gorisan202 funny shit !!

  • @gorisan202 It is, but we like bacon, not sausages.

  • definitely kafka-esque

    KITH are awesome!

  • SAUSAGES ARE GOOD SAUSAGES ARE GOOD WE ARE ALL SAUSAGES SAUSAGES SAUSAGES S.A.U.S.A.G.E.S

  • i was just cooking sausages and i couldn't stop thinking about this skit

  • Definitely going for Eraserhead here.

  • This looks like a Kafka novel brought to life.

Kith are often at their very best in their old man roles.

  • Another classic KITH sketch, pure art.

  • haha, i love when Scott says, "We Are All... Sausages!"

  • This is one of those bits the restores my faith in humanity.

  • Shear Brilliance!! The Kids were and are th best. This skit was played in the background at so many urban bars and clubs throughout the 1990's... Bruce and Scott are masterful in this one.

  • thats no dystopia... thats Canada

  • "I like sausages!"

  • this is some twisted shit

  • He looks around the room for the syrup and its right in front of him love this one

  • kith have hilarious old man characters

  • this reminds me of the movie Brazil
