@deadeye503 I used too much syrup on my pancakes and it spilled on my sausages. I still ate them, but they tasted gross.
After I heard this was a thing I kept trying them. I even tried those pre-made "maple flavor" sausages that had the flavor already in them. I really, honestly tried to give them a chance. I gave up. They're fucking nasty.
Jesus fucking christ. You white people and your white food.
@andy65guitar i see it , read the book not to long ago , only difference is he is not totally broken at the end , in his mind he still has hope , 84 was a little more depressing
@borninhel1 Yeah it more like the beginning of the book. He pines for this woman but he can't have her. The whole "Sausages and old man thing", is just the guys bouncing weird ideas back and forth but you have to see 1984 in the skit? Eraserhead is a good point too! Very industrial and dark and depressing. And funny!!
I feel like Brazil and City of Lost Children and some Tim Burton crack and some German expressionism got thrown in a blender, and this is what came out. It doesn't make me laugh out loud, but it's deliciously weird.
@wario22 Yet another bitter, asshole, toffee-toothed limey spouting their petty anti-American sentiment. We broke free from your pissant rule, deal with it, you sad, inbred monarchy worshipping jagoff.
this is one of my favourite sketches, me and my younger sisters got attached to this years ago, when it first aired. ahh the memories! these guys are awesome, i'm glad the rest of the world didnt steal and corrupt them, their show was great and still is. all still relevant and daamn funny. KITH forever! we are lucky to be able to grow up on this stuff.....;D
Set in a dystopian future society. It features a man (McCulloch) who works at a sausage factory and falls in love with a woman who works there kissing the boxes so they have the company's lipstick logo. Too nervous to talk to her, the man, who had stolen some sausages for his crazy, sausage-obsessed father (Thompson), leaves them on her doorstep and leaves. Knowing he can never lead a normal life while caring for his gibbering idiot father, he resigns himself to loneliness.
KITH was the only thing worth watching when I was kid. All we had was CBC over the air, no cable. so this was the only really entertaining show to watch. Living in the North of Canada is very bleak at times, the Kids captured that essence in bits like this.
Ya know... The music in the factory really conveys the feeling of dread and tension of working in a place like that.. And i've worked in a few factories in my day...
Watching these shows growing up in new jersey was a godsend in the late 80s + early 90s. Just pure genius! Not just comedy, but true art. SNL could never come close to what these freaks were doing.
