Metallica have never been and never will be pop. Yes, they made a few slow songs but who hasn't. No I am not a Metallica fan I still think Megadeth are better. I just feel that credit should be giving where credit is due. Ride the Lightning, Master and Puppets and Kill 'Em All were great albums

Metal is not just a music, we have our factions and all that, but a few albums any metal head should have are Sabbath:Paranoid, Judas Priest :British Steel, Maiden: anything from Iron Maiden 'til Powerslave. Metallica: Masters of Puppets (Kill 'Em All is better), Slayer:Reign in Blood, Megadeth: Peace Sells any anything by Diamond Head and King Crimson.

Unfortionatly,I never saw these albums on shelves.(Blitzkrieg,Diamondhead,Budgie,holocaust)etc.So 95% of us who listened to metal and lived in small towns,didnt have cool record stores to find NWOBM records in 1980.So Its safe to say almost, if not all of us heard Metallicas version first.But WOW its too bad this shit wasnt on our shelves back home.I wouldve bought the shit out of it ,jammed and get baked too it. RIGHT ON NWOBM
