A pretty nice look. but they still have some things to improve:

The ball blur is missing when he jumps, that blur was present even in the 3D games.

I like the auto un-curl that happened after he runs into the air, he looks cute. But he's defenseless if he didn't use a homing attack, novice players would have trouble. Hopefully a compromise can be reach for both.

The ability to roll into a ball while running is missing or the player don't use it.

Light Speed Dash would be an interesting addition.

Guess what 'children' there are 'adults' in their twenties and thirties who look back fondly of playing the original Sonic in the 90's ( like myself I may add ) and wish there was a new and updated version that existed today. Yes, it's kinda sad that the game is not only directed at kids general, but it seems to be focused also on the 90's kids.

The Japanese were once worried of not having this game, considering the game have a strong NA bias advertisement (it even left out CD, which have a strong following in Japan, especially Amy's fans).

Hopefully future episodes will add in more characters, better moves, more of the newer stuff, Unleashed's 3D in 2D style, and lots of improvisations.

@pswpsw3 Each episode consists of 4 Zones, with 3 Acts per Zone. While they didn't specify how many episodes there would be, Sega did say that the number would be 'kept to finite to single digits'. Large rumored belief being 5 total. There are also rumors that once all the episodes are released, they will compile them together as a 'retail edition'. As to when this will occur is unknown.
