I wish we could have cloned Ted Kennedy. There will never be another this great who has the balls to stand up for the right and truth. He is right to attack the NSA and say that we have created a world where we can never feel confident that we are free from being watched... and our goodness is therefore stolen from us. Amen, miss you Great One. Rest in peace brother of mine... I miss you really bad. Come meet me at the gates.
@larkydozer: considering how old you are, I'm surprised you are still vibrant enough to have a brain that can discern the tangible from the irrational. Did you even understand what Senator Kennedy was talking about here? I never had much respect for Ted Kennedy, some things from his past, too liberal on some issues, too much influence for one family {even before the Clintons and Bushes}. But this was freaking brilliant!
Was it partisan? Perhaps. But he and Dodd are definitely on the right side. I don't care as much the reasons why, I care most that someone, anyone is taking a stand on this issue!
The net needs to be more free and uncensored, not less. Ted Kennedy is totally right on this, and I hope there are more politicians left like him in the United States!
I know, but it's the same principle, privacy intrusion is not something that should be advocated, not on the phone and not on the net. And Ted Kennedy seems to stand for that principle, as far as I can tell.

Not really. Ted Kennedy stands for anything he thinks will help him or his party politically. As long as he thinks it will make the opposition look bad it doesn't matter what it is, wiretapping that has been going on for 50 years and is nothing new, calling our troops murderers and nazis, providing support to our enemy, trying to destroy the morale of our troops and the Iraqi people, whatever, he stands for it.

Ooooh. Yet more bad news for the democrats. The total number and breakdown of registered voters nationwide was just released and there are 2% less Democrats and 2% more Republicans than last year. It looks like even some Democrats are getting tired of the lies, troop-bashing, and treason.

More bad news for liberals (but not necessarily Democrats). In the november elections, 89% of the candidates (Republican and Democrat) who were endorsed by the National Rifle Association won their races. I guess the dumbing-down of America attempted by the liberal NEA and teachers unions has not been so successful after all.
I want to thank them and all of the Democrats as well. Thank for calling our troops terrorists, nazis, murderers, butchers, criminals, and failures. Thank you for doing all you can (including treason) to try to help the terrorists win this war in the hope it would help you politically. Thank you for trying to turn a long-time ally against us in the hope they would stop letting us supply our troops from their country. Thank for everything you have done that will get you crushed in 2008.
Republican Congressman Donald "Buz" Lukens was found guilty of having sex with a female minor and sentenced to one month in jail. Republican fundraiser Richard A. Delgaudio was found guilty of child porn charges and paying two teenage girls to pose for sexual photos. Republican activist Mark A. Grethen convicted on six counts of sex crimes involving children. Republican activist Randal David Ankeney pleaded guilty to attempted sexual assault on a child.
Most major American businesses had working relationships with Germany before the war started. It was the fastest growing economy on earth. You can not blame Kennedy or Bush for their involvement.
Duh, everyone knows that we did business with Facist nations before the war. But if only it were that simple with Prescott Bush. How many continued to work with the Nazis *after* already having their assets seized by the Trading With the Enemies Act?? Read the Tarpley's bio of Bush Sr., available online at the Tarpley site- chapter two- "The Hitler Project."
I am so sick and tired of the right wing people who are continually condemning Kennedy for the accidental death of one woman, from 40 years ago, yet care nothing about the 30 thousand american troops, and the 600 thousand Iraqi civillians that died in a meaningless war that he LIED about! Shameful! Who then, in history's eyes, shall be judged more harshly?
30 thousand American troops died in Iraq? where do you get your news? Code pink? Sure who is one woman killed by a drunk? Why don't you call her family and tell them how little she matters. Idiot.
Well, it was an ACCIDENT! These deaths were intentional! Besides, 600 thousand Iraqi civilian lives are more 600 thousand times worse than one womans, because all people are equal, I don't give a shit if its an American life, or an Iraqi life, we are all human!!! And you didn't answer my question. Who will be judged harsher by history? The REAL reason people like you hate Kennedy is because he supports equal rights for minorities, gays and immigrants. We wouldn't want that, would we?
You were there? You know? He left her in that car (or put her in that car) and all he was worried about for HOURS afterward was how his lawyers could cover his ass. Anyone other than a rich liberal would still be in jail.
As for Iraq, AGAIN: We were told they had WMDs and were seeking to build nukes. These lies caused the death of many American soldiers. Iraq is not becoming stable. The Kurds are fighting with the Turks, Shiites and Sunnis are fighting each other. Search YouTube for this video- Dick Cheney '94: Invading Baghdad Would Create Quagmire. Dick was right back then.
We were told this by Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Chuck Schumer, Jay Rockefeller, Ted Kennedy, Chris Dodd, Madelyn Albright, William Cohen, and a host of other Democrats long before Bush ever ran for office. Do you blame them? I don't know where you get your news but Iraq has become VERY stable. Even the Democrats and their lapdogs in the press are having trouble finding bad news these days.
Aha! Evidently you get your "news" from loofa boy O'Reilly and I'm taking a Viagara prescription with someone elses name on the bottle to an island where prostitution is legal and cheap, you know because minimum wage is really low- Rush Limbaugh.
We do not know that it was an accident but we do know that all he cared about was covering it up. If we are able to establish a stable and free Iraq, which we are well on the way to doing, history will judge Bush quite well. Assuming I would oppose such things is pretty rude. It is also not very smart when you can read through my posts and see what I have said about that.
What we really know is that no witness has ever come forward. Kennedy told police that he dove back down to the car several times to try to get her out. BTW, how many times did the last congress of rich neocons raise the minimum wage? Cmon, I'll give you ZERO guesses!
As a business owner I can tell you why. Because the minimum wage was instituted for young workers with no skills just entering the workforce. When the minimum wage is raised as much as the Dems want (for show) it becomes too expensive to keep un-productive workers on the payroll for very long. You can not give them as long to develop and you can get more experienced people for the same wage. It hurts the very people it was designed to help.
If an adult is on minimum wage they have bigger problems than an increase in the wage will cure. No one should still be on minimum wage after only working 6 months.
If an employer cannot afford to train an employee in 6 months, then there's something wrong that even slave labor can't cure. I started a small business in '94, trainees were paid minimum wage for 3 mos. I hire unskilled workers of all ages. The older ones are ex-housewives. Two are women whose husbands were injured in Iraq, where my husband is on his 3rd tour. I was not a rich liberal in '94.
And you pay those older workers minimum wage? How do you get away with that? No one over 20 would accept minimum around here. I always start older people out at better than minimum even if they had no direct experience because they did have maturity which is just as valuable.
Young people who WANT to work deserve the same pay as older people with the same skills. They're all trainees at first. God damn. Republicans SUCK at running a business and a government.
We also know that the Police investigators did not believe him and that the evidence did not support the story he and his lawyer came up with instead of calling someone while she was in the car. He got away with a crime that none of us would have because he was a rich Democrat in Massachusetts.
Wow! First off, he hiked in the rain for hours to the nearest phone booth and called. Common sense would tell most of us that she drowned in that time. Funny how you whine about rich people getting away with crimes on a post about retroactive immunity. No, really. Think about it. Hilarious. So much for the party of accountability. See Libby, Foley. Google GOP Pedophiles, what a pathetic group of "leaders."
Sure, do it and all you find is liberal bloggers posting B.S. rumors and no convicted offenders. How many democrats have been actually CONVICTED, censured, or otherwise proven to be sex offenders? Gerry Studds, Mel Reynolds, Wayne Hayes, John Young, Fred Richmond, Brock Adams, Barney Frank, Gus Savage, Daniel Inouye, should I go on? Make sure you know want you are talking about and maybe you will avoid embarrassing yourself so badly by posting total B.S.
Nice list. 4 were convicted. The rest were scandals or "rumors". 1 was a Republican. One died in 1852. Unlike you, I say ANY senator charged with sexual abuse or misconduct should be OUT. Be they Democrat or Republican. But I sure the hell ain't you! I don't have that wide a stance. BA HA HA HA! Give Ted Haggard a blow job for me!!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When did I say any disgusting perverts should get away with anything? All I did was point out your hypocracy and I limited myself to members of Congress. If you want me to include lower-level democrats, Democrat private individuals, and Democrat-supporting media types Youtube's servers would be overloaded before I got halfway through the list!
The hypocricy is the fact that the GOP considers itself the party of ACCOUNTABILITY. AND FAMILY VALUES. Igot senators in that list too and I ain't even CLOSE to the end of the list of "rumors."
That is almost all your list is. Rumors and people mistakenly identified as Republicans. When a Republican is found to actually have done something like this they are immediately removed from office by the party. When a Democrat, like Studds, is found to have done something like this they are given standing ovations and appointed to leadership positions. I if that isn't organized party-wide support for pedophilia I don't know what is.
Republican Committee Chairman Jeffrey Patti was arrested for distributing a video clip of a 5-year-old girl being raped. Republican activist Marty Glickman (a.k.a. "Republican Marty"), was taken into custody by Florida police on four counts of unlawful sexual activity with an underage girl and one count of delivering the drug LSD. Republican legislative aide Howard L. Brooks was charged with molesting a 12-year old boy and possession of child pornography.
Funny how many of your laughable ultra-left sources (dozens) parrot the same version of that story word-for-word but don't mention how many of the 28 people arrested with him were Democrats. Your lies and manipulated B.S. mean nothing.
Arrested with "him" who? Meweave uses credible news sources. Funny how you are crying about back peddling on sticking up for your hypocrites then start sticking up for them again. Funny how you attack a woman whose husband is in Iraq and don't even acknowledge the sacrifice she's made for your bullshit neo con war. You just keep showing everyone what assholes conservatives are.
You don't even read a thread before making an idiot of yourself. I have posted many times that I do not support Bush or the neo-cons. Do you even know what a "neo-con" is? Look it up. A neo-con is a supposedly "former" liberal who now falsely claims to be conservative. And how am I supposed to know anything about Meweave? Am I a mind reader? You are a textbook example of someone who is liberal because they are too stupid to know any better.
In a comment to you that you even replied to Meweave said that her husband was currently in Iraq. Read the thread yourself. A neocon is a Reagan worshipping trickle down theory loving dipshit. Someone who believes in putting a nation in debt by cutting taxes for the wealthy and giving tax breaks to companies that outsource jobs that used to be held by working class Americans. Why don't you go jump in the Chesapeake Bay, moron.
I never said anything to Meweave about her husband unless it was a LONG time ago. I didn't even know she was female or married. Wrong again. As I said, look it up. Neo-cons and conservatives are not the same thing. Tax cuts INCREASE revenue to the government every time they are tried, including when JFK did it. Companies outsource because Democrats make it too expensive to stay here idiot.
A neocon is any idiot that listens to Limbaugh or watches Fox Noise. Another sign that tells us you're neocon is the fact that you rant out in multiple one or two sentence comments. You can't string together a full paragraph. I mentioned that my husband was in Iraq on the same comment where I said that I started trainees at minimum wage.
Another idiotic statement. At least you are consistent. Find me a dictionary (you do know what one is, correct?) that gives that definition of the term. So, all of the liberals that watch Fox and listen to Limbaugh (and call him every day) are neo-cons? Moron. My comments are usually so long I have to abbreviate or they have to be continued. I only shorten them after I realize I am wasting my time responding to a moron.
Sorry, I missed the Iraq statement. I guess the first half of your comment was so stupid that I responded too early. Of course his service and your sacrifice is appreciated. I know a lot of military families and it is a tough life. Is that why you are so bitter and biased to the point of fantasy? It would be understandable.
Bitter and biased. Ha! What color is that pot? Gee, thanks for that "support". Defunding the war is not defunding the troops. A REAL Conservative would know the difference. Neo Con! BTW, in case you didn't know, Haggard doesn't really like women. Put your knee pads on and pay the man.
Could you be anymore wrong? I am beginning to believe you are lying about having a husband in Iraq. How could one with a relative in Iraq be so ignorant of the facts and so supportive of the party that has been trying to get our soldiers defeated? The first and biggest affect of de-funding the war is depriving the troops of the material they need. That's what war funding does. Why are you so obsessed with that scheister Haggard? He isn't a conservative, he's a fraud and a wacko.
Do you think Bush would leave troops in Iraq w/o funds needed? He would be forced to deploy. I'm supporting the party trying to bring them back alive. We should be back in Afg. where Osama was and stabilized THAT country. Now the M/E is worse than ever with the Taliban coming back, the assassination of our only ally in Pakistan. The whole thing is screwed b/c of the previous rubber stamp congress. We need leadership to fight and defeat the enemy. We need what we had in WWII. DEMOCRATS!
Haggard is a creepy Christian conservative who fooled his fellow evangelicals in supporting a party that only uses christianity to collect votes. As you might have noticed your party is far from the christian idea of helping the poor and sick. It's just more hypocrisy from the GOP.
Republican Congressman Dan Crane had sex with a female minor working as a congressional page. Republican activist and Christian Coalition leader Beverly Russell admitted to an incestuous relationship with his step daughter. Republican Judge Ronald C. Kline was placed under house arrest for child molestation and possession of child pornography. Republican congressman and anti-gay activist Robert Bauman was charged with having sex with a 16-year-old boy he picked up at a gay bar.
Go ahead, keep cutting-and-pasting from your "Bush blew up the World Trade Center" sites. So many of the claims turned out to be bogus that I don't waste my time checking them out anymore.
I'm not even close to 1 quarter through the Republican PEDOHILES! You said it was rumors! REPUBLICANS ARE NOT THE PARTY OF ACCOUNTABILITY OR FAMILY VALUES. THEY'RE THE PARTY OF HYPOCRISY, DISGUST, COVER UP, AND CORRUPTION!
John Hathaway-accusations (during a campaign) proven false, no evidence presented, no charges, the girl had a history of mental issues and was institutionalized. Stephen White- only identified as Republican in wacko leftist sites who make the idiotic assumption that all "Christians" are Republican. Judging by how hard it is to find a Republican in north Philly he is just as likely a Democrat.
Republican politician Andrew Buhr was charged with two counts of first degree sodomy with a 13-year old boy. Republican benefactor of conservative Christian groups, Richard A. Dasen Sr., was found guilty of raping a 15-year old girl. Dasen, 62, who is married with grown children and several grandchildren, has allegedly told police that over the past decade he paid more than $1 million to have sex with a large number of young women.
Andrew Buhr-funny that you omit the fact that the lead defendant, Rolf Rathmann, was the President of St. Louis' largest gay rights organization and a dedicated Democrat. Earl Kimmerling- again, only identified as Republican by wacko leftists who assume this based on his hate of gays and on their idiotic assumption that all Republicans hate gays and all Democrats love them.
Republican anti-gay activist Earl "Butch" Kimmerling was sentenced to 40 years in prison for molesting an 8-year old girl after he attempted to stop a gay couple from adopting her. Republican Party leader Paul Ingram pleaded guilty to six counts of raping his daughters and served 14 years in federal prison. Republican election board official Kevin Coan was sentenced to two years probation for soliciting sex over the internet from a 14-year old girl.
Paul Ingram-HAHA. That case is so full of religious wackos (including the jury) and ridiculous claims it is hilarious. The whole case was based on "memories" induced under hypnosis. One daughter recanted saying she was a victim of false-memory syndrome while the wacko one that said almost 3 dozen members of the police were involved in the "rape" is the only one sticking to the story, and Ingram passed a polygraph test about the case.
Republican Senate candidate John Hathaway was accused of having sex with his 12-year old baby sitter and withdrew his candidacy after the allegations were reported in the media. Republican preacher Stephen White, who demanded a return to traditional values, was sentenced to jail after offering $20 to a 14-year-old boy for permission to perform oral sex on him. Republican talk show host Jon Matthews pleaded guilty to exposing his genitals to an 11 year old girl.
Write letters send e-mails call them make your voice heard and then vote them out of office, no reason in the world you can't do both. They don't read them, but they have staff whose 1 and only job is to read the mail and send the Senators and Congressman and women a digest of what their constituents are saying. Speak up or quit complaining when you're not heard.
Congress does not have the Constitutional authority to do most of what they do. They pervert the meaning of the "Commerce Clause" in Article I, Section 8, paragraph 3, to mean that they can essentially do whatever they want.
check out teddie's votng tecord. He has voted for the Iraq War & many other things bush wanted. He votes for what will make him look good at that moment. He is just as guilty os the rest of the neo-cons.
You lie! Ted Kennedy voted against the war in Iraq from the very begining, and the patriot act! Get your facts straight and don't just spew your mindless neocon rubbish. If you want to point your finger at Democrats who did vote for the war in Iraq, then go ahead, but don't try and drag heroes like Kennedy through the mud.
Just like the patriot Nazis claimed they were doing their duty too, as they blindly followed their elected leader into hell, all for the security of the homeland.
OMG. Praising Ted "The Hero of Chappaquiddick" Kenedy for "protecting and defending the Constitution" is like praising Michael Jackson for his parenting skills. Infact, it is worse. At least Micheal hasn't killed anyone.
how many people has bush murdered? A hell of allot more than Saddam did...so, when do we get to hang his ass? The Chappaquiddick incident was far from murder..of course you don't know anything about it...you are just a uneducated little parrot. good luck with that.
Bush has not murdered anyone and anyone who is informed knows that we will never know how many people Saddam's regime murdered. We will also never know how many people he used chemical weapons on. George Killen, the lead investigator on the Chappaquiddick case stated "Senator Kennedy killed that girl the same as if he put a gun to her head and pulled the trigger". Don't accuse people of being uneducated when you know so little yourself.
This administration lied about WMDs and yellow cake in Iraq, they lied about Iran's nuclear threat as well. When you lie to cause a war your a murderer. Since George Killen was not a witness, since there were no witnesses at Chappaquidick, you can just as easily say Killen was a political hack as easily as you righties say Joe Wilson was a hack. Except Joe Wilson was a Republican.
Take your head out of your butt and look around, or at least look at this thread. Bush didn't say anything about WMD's in Iraq that the Democrats had not been saying for years before he ever ran for office. Congress, including Democrats, labeled Wilson as a liar in their report.
Stop dragging up incidents from 40 years ago, and let's focus on whats happening NOW. It's easy to make personal attacks on Ted Kennedy, but the only reason you do that, is because you cannot say that he was wrong with regard to policy. By the same hand, you know that we were right, and can't call us out on our beliefs, so you take cheap shots by saying "You're an idiot, and take your head out of your butt." Really intellectual.
1998 was 40 years ago? You have just as much of a problem with math as you do with any other simple mental process. I guess that makes sense. Stating the things that The Hero of Chappaquiddick has been wrong and/or anti-american about would overload Youtube's servers. I try to be civil but some people (like you) say things that are just too stupid and I can't help mayself.
Um. Chappaquiddick was in 60's, 40 years ago. I dunno what the heck you're alluding to. And you claim to be civil, but you have repeatedly refered to myself and others here as "idiots", and continually made personal attacks on me and others, but that's only because you have nothing to add to the conversation politically. You are wrong, and you know it.
We have been controlled by the elite. The elite control the banking system, radio, tv,gov, and churches. They have taken our ability to question authority. We are more materialistic because of them. Why would they do this? -> They work for evil forces not wanting us to evolve spiritually. We will not take any material thing when we die, not even our skin color. Knowledge is power.
He was drunk and killed that woman. Let her drown while she cried for help ( typical democRAT ). You can forget about Bush and Cheney they have liberated Iraq and the war is almost over V-Day is coming. Fuck you and the rest of the yellow belly democRATs.
The Democrats call our troops nazis, murderers, and terrorists (after voting to send them there). They give the Iraqis the impression we are going to abandon them (like Bush Sr. did) so they stop offering assistance to our troops for fear of retribution after we leave. They make idiotic statements about how Iraq was more humane under Saddam's murderers and rapists. The terrorists regularly quote statements from the democrats in their propaganda. Who are the traitors?
The traitors are those who turn their backs on our civil liberties deny us our first amendment rights. Voltaire once said, "I may not agree with what you say, but will defend to my death your right to say it." That is the American way, the founding principle of free speech, and if you want to deny the left the right to call Bush and co. murderers, terrorists and nazi's, regardless to whether you agree with them, then you are a traitor too! You cannot opress free speech! THIS IS AMERICA!
All I am saying, if people want to say that Bush and co. are WHATEVER people want to call them, then they have that right. I never refered to Bush as a murderer terrorist or a nazi, (though he will go down in history as the worst American president ever,)All I am saying is that people are protected by the constitution to say that if they want to.
Well, I am inclined to agree that it is irresponsible to make claims like that. And I've not said things to that extent, though you couldn't call me a fan of Bush by any strech of the imagination. By the same hand though, I'm not some raving 9/11 conspiriracy lunatic or something. But if people want to say that, then they should be allowed to. And I truly respect you for aknowledging that.
He's perfectly correct on what he said about the presidents excuse. You cant say americans will die if they dont pass it (their strongarm tactic to congress) and then veto it just because the telcoms wont get immunity. If americans die he can only blame himself for trading american lives for the telcoms secret crimes.
Really? If these companies were doing something shady at the request or direction of the government they should be held responsible? You know the government will not be held responsible.
...your oj shit fell flat. you are a dipshit. go play in traffic...and it's Senator...from the Senate..our congress, usually refers to the house of Rep...even though both are congresses, there is a distinction that your IQ will never grasp. Man this country is full of retards.
The fact that Congress KNOWS that our Fourth Amendment Rights have been violated and yet they argue for "PRIVATE" Corporations the privilege to VIOLATE OUR RIGHTS, makes one to have to ask, just what are they supporting and defending IF NOT OUR RIGHTS?
They care about their income, cash money, that goes right into their pockets due to some random lobbyest and his agenda. He will buy their vote, and they will enjoy your new yatch and time share in vegas. It has nothing to do with you at all. Enjoy the new Russia, hope you have a nice trip!
If you are ready to stop fooling yourselves, stop being part of the problem, and stop being pro-democrat or pro-republican and start being pro-Constitution then you should read "Our Nation Betrayed" by Garland Favorito. It lays out the crimes of both sides with startling clarity. Or you can keep supporting Bush, or Kennedy, or McCain, or Clinton, and watch your nation circle the drain equally fast no matter who is in charge.
I will say one thing for Republican voters when it comes to the Constitution. They are WAY ahead of Democrat voters when it comes to waking up and paying attention to what is really going on. Look how much money is being raised by Ron Paul's pro-Constitution, anti-government campaign. On the Democrat side the big earners are Hillary and Obama. Intrusive big government business as usual.
people are just unaware, and bush has defaced the republican party giving so called democrats are inability to even LISTEN to you talk about a republican candidate, even if its ron paul. its so stupid, people are so stubborn about politics, its become offensive to bring it up to people. ITS SO HARD TO DEBATE, DEBATE IS HEALTHY NOT BAD ITS INTERACTION.
CitizenBrain, as much as I hate to say it, but the average person just doesn't care to strain themselves to think outside the box. It's mostly the ones who never attended college, or even got their GHD. Here in Alabama, I find that true mostly. People are stupid and love to remain so.
Up here near D.C. it is the more educated people, whos minds were polluted by leftist crap in college, who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to the Constitution.
When it comes to constitutional issues the republicans and democrats are just opposite sides of the same crooked fence and they are both laughing at everyone who stays focused on left against right, liberal against conservative (Bush IS NOT a conservative), because it keeps you too busy to notice what they are all doing together to destroy our rights and sovereignty. Kennedy is among the worst offenders and here you all are praising him because he "attacks" Bush. Start paying attention.
Too bad most Americans are too ignorant about what is going on in today's America that they will allow themselves to be used. Bush should've been impeached by now...
It will never happen for the same reason that Clinton was not impeached for committing a felony. Both sides have so much to hide from us that they have to cooperate on some basic level to keep the whole charade going.
The biggest problem is that there are so many gullible people who think this is anything new or something Bush started. The NSA has been monitoring every electronic communication in this country for over 50 years. It happens no matter who is in charge. It happened under Clinton, who ordered the warrentless physical search of Alrich Ames' home, which was far more invasive than any wiretaps.
who of you stands up for UsAmericans. who of you wants no accountability. I am subject to the rule of law! How about you? The rule of law or not... check your maps and find out where you stand...
'Conservatives' are a joke. Can government get any bigger than inserting itself in the life of every citizen?
I can't even get most of my friends to vote. The ones who do are christians and they blindly vote red. One day we will wake up to regret being asleep at the wheel for so long, but it will be too late.
Kennedy did a great job spelling out what this is all about, tyranny like we've never seen. America was a great country at one time, America is now over!
Ted Kennedy is a scoundrel, but a scoundrel who consistently fights for justice, and, for that, i applaud him. Shame on the senate for, save a handful of progressives, consistently giving the administration the ability to act as it pleases when it pleases without the threat of reprecission. Oh, and a shout out to the NSA who is undoubtedly reading this; heckuva job, assholes.
It's been done again SBX211 SBX211 SBX211
by an act of legislation the California judicial branch has admitted to be corrupt.

Ted couldn't make a reasoned argument. This is why he postured and emoted and blustered so often.
Good riddance.

Hi.
I'd suggest you read the book which I'd just finished. It's called "The Vision of the Anointed" by Thomas Sowell.

Ted Kennedy is a coward. After a car crash into a lake, he swam away without saving his girl friend. He died. What a horrible man.

Thank you for doing all you can (including treason) to try to help the terrorists win this war in the hope it would help you politically. Thank you for trying to turn a long-time ally against us in the hope they would stop letting us supply our troops from their country. Thank for everything you have done that will get you crushed in 2008.

Most major American businesses had working relationships with Germany before the war started. It was the fastest growing economy on earth. You can not blame Kennedy or Bush for their involvement.

Duh, everyone knows that we did business with Facist nations before the war. But if only it were that simple with Prescott Bush.
Azooka1234 4 years ago
30 thousand American troops died in Iraq? where do you get your news? Code pink? Sure who is one woman killed by a drunk? Why don't you call her family and tell them how little she matters. Idiot.
omcx1 4 years ago
Well, it was an ACCIDENT! These deaths were intentional! Besides, 600 thousand Iraqi civilian lives are more 600 thousand times worse than one womans, because all people are equal, I don't give a shit if its an American life, or an Iraqi life, we are all human!!! And you didn't answer my question. Who will be judged harsher by history? The REAL reason people like you hate Kennedy is because he supports equal rights for minorities, gays and immigrants. We wouldn't want that, would we?
Azooka1234 4 years ago
You were there? You know? He left her in that car (or put her in that car) and all he was worried about for HOURS afterward was how his lawyers could cover his ass. Anyone other than a rich liberal would still be in jail.
omcx1 4 years ago
As for Iraq, AGAIN: We were told they had WMDs and were seeking to build nukes. These lies caused the death of many American soldiers. Iraq is not becoming stable. The Kurds are fighting with the Turks, Shiites and Sunnis are fighting each other. Search YouTube for this video- Dick Cheney '94: Invading Baghdad Would Create Quagmire. Dick was right back then.
meweave 4 years ago
We were told this by Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Chuck Schumer, Jay Rockefeller, Ted Kennedy, Chris Dodd, Madelyn Albright, William Cohen, and a host of other Democrats long before Bush ever ran for office. Do you blame them? I don't know where you get your news but Iraq has become VERY stable. Even the Democrats and their lapdogs in the press are having trouble finding bad news these days.
omcx1 4 years ago
Aha! Evidently you get your "news" from loofa boy O'Reilly and I'm taking a Viagara prescription with someone elses name on the bottle to an island where prostitution is legal and cheap, you know because minimum wage is really low- Rush Limbaugh.
meweave 4 years ago
We do not know that it was an accident but we do know that all he cared about was covering it up. If we are able to establish a stable and free Iraq, which we are well on the way to doing, history will judge Bush quite well. Assuming I would oppose such things is pretty rude. It is also not very smart when you can read through my posts and see what I have said about that.
omcx1 4 years ago
What we really know is that no witness has ever come forward. Kennedy told police that he dove back down to the car several times to try to get her out. BTW, how many times did the last congress of rich neocons raise the minimum wage? Cmon, I'll give you ZERO guesses!
meweave 4 years ago
As a business owner I can tell you why. Because the minimum wage was instituted for young workers with no skills just entering the workforce. When the minimum wage is raised as much as the Dems want (for show) it becomes too expensive to keep un-productive workers on the payroll for very long. You can not give them as long to develop and you can get more experienced people for the same wage. It hurts the very people it was designed to help.
omcx1 4 years ago
If an adult is on minimum wage they have bigger problems than an increase in the wage will cure. No one should still be on minimum wage after only working 6 months.
omcx1 4 years ago
If an employer cannot afford to train an employee in 6 months, then there's something wrong that even slave labor can't cure. I started a small business in '94, trainees were paid minimum wage for 3 mos. I hire unskilled workers of all ages. The older ones are ex-housewives. Two are women whose husbands were injured in Iraq, where my husband is on his 3rd tour. I was not a rich liberal in '94.
meweave 4 years ago
And you pay those older workers minimum wage? How do you get away with that? No one over 20 would accept minimum around here. I always start older people out at better than minimum even if they had no direct experience because they did have maturity which is just as valuable.
omcx1 4 years ago
Young people who WANT to work deserve the same pay as older people with the same skills. They're all trainees at first. God damn. Republicans SUCK at running a business and a government.
meweave 4 years ago
If they have the same skills and other qualities of course. What is your point?
omcx1 4 years ago
We also know that the Police investigators did not believe him and that the evidence did not support the story he and his lawyer came up with instead of calling someone while she was in the car. He got away with a crime that none of us would have because he was a rich Democrat in Massachusetts.
omcx1 4 years ago
Make sure you know want you are talking about and maybe you will avoid embarrassing yourself so badly by posting total B.S.
omcx1 4 years ago

If you want me to include lower-level democrats, Democrat private individuals, and Democrat-supporting media types Youtube's servers would be overloaded before I got halfway through the list!
omcx1 4 years ago
The hypocricy is the fact that the GOP considers itself the party of ACCOUNTABILITY. AND FAMILY VALUES. Igot senators in that list too and I ain't even CLOSE to the end of the list of "rumors."
meweave 4 years ago
That is almost all your list is. Rumors and people mistakenly identified as Republicans. When a Republican is found to actually have done something like this they are immediately removed from office by the party. When a Democrat, like Studds, is found to have done something like this they are given standing ovations and appointed to leadership positions. I if that isn't organized party-wide support for pedophilia I don't know what is.
omcx1 4 years ago
There you go with the rumors bullshit again. Many were convicted, damn near all were arrested.

Your lies and manipulated B.S. mean nothing.
omcx1 4 years ago
Arrested with "him" who? Meweave uses credible news sources. Funny how you are crying about back peddling on sticking up for your hypocrites then start sticking up for them again. Funny how you attack a woman whose husband is in Iraq and don't even acknowledge the sacrifice she's made for your bullshit neo con war. You just keep showing everyone what assholes conservatives are.
HrudyE 4 years ago
You don't even read a thread before making an idiot of yourself. I have posted many times that I do not support Bush or the neo-cons. Do you even know what a "neo-con" is? Look it up. A neo-con is a supposedly "former" liberal who now falsely claims to be conservative. And how am I supposed to know anything about Meweave? Am I a mind reader? You are a textbook example of someone who is liberal because they are too stupid to know any better.
omcx1 4 years ago
In a comment to you that you even replied to Meweave said that her husband was currently in Iraq. Read the thread yourself. A neocon is a Reagan worshipping trickle down theory loving dipshit. Someone who believes in putting a nation in debt by cutting taxes for the wealthy and giving tax breaks to companies that outsource jobs that used to be held by working class Americans. Why don't you go jump in the Chesapeake Bay, moron.
HrudyE 4 years ago
I never said anything to Meweave about her husband unless it was a LONG time ago. I didn't even know she was female or married. Wrong again. As I said, look it up. Neo-cons and conservatives are not the same thing. Tax cuts INCREASE revenue to the government every time they are tried, including when JFK did it. Companies outsource because Democrats make it too expensive to stay here idiot.
omcx1 4 years ago
A neocon is any idiot that listens to Limbaugh or watches Fox Noise. Another sign that tells us you're neocon is the fact that you rant out in multiple one or two sentence comments. You can't string together a full paragraph. I mentioned that my husband was in Iraq on the same comment where I said that I started trainees at minimum wage.
meweave 4 years ago
Another idiotic statement. At least you are consistent. Find me a dictionary (you do know what one is, correct?) that gives that definition of the term. So, all of the liberals that watch Fox and listen to Limbaugh (and call him every day) are neo-cons? Moron. My comments are usually so long I have to abbreviate or they have to be continued. I only shorten them after I realize I am wasting my time responding to a moron.
omcx1 4 years ago
Sorry, I missed the Iraq statement. I guess the first half of your comment was so stupid that I responded too early. Of course his service and your sacrifice is appreciated. I know a lot of military families and it is a tough life. Is that why you are so bitter and biased to the point of fantasy? It would be understandable.
omcx1 4 years ago
Bitter and biased. Ha! What color is that pot? Gee, thanks for that "support". Defunding the war is not defunding the troops. A REAL Conservative would know the difference. Neo Con! BTW, in case you didn't know, Haggard doesn't really like women. Put your knee pads on and pay the man.
meweave 4 years ago
Could you be anymore wrong? I am beginning to believe you are lying about having a husband in Iraq. How could one with a relative in Iraq be so ignorant of the facts and so supportive of the party that has been trying to get our soldiers defeated? The first and biggest affect of de-funding the war is depriving the troops of the material they need. That's what war funding does. Why are you so obsessed with that scheister Haggard? He isn't a conservative, he's a fraud and a wacko.
omcx1 4 years ago
Do you think Bush would leave troops in Iraq w/o funds needed? He would be forced to deploy. I'm supporting the party trying to bring them back alive. We should be back in Afg. where Osama was and stabilized THAT country. Now the M/E is worse than ever with the Taliban coming back, the assassination of our only ally in Pakistan. The whole thing is screwed b/c of the previous rubber stamp congress. We need leadership to fight and defeat the enemy. We need what we had in WWII. DEMOCRATS!

Don't accuse people of being uneducated when you know so little yourself.
omcx1 4 years ago
This administration lied about WMDs and yellow cake in Iraq, they lied about Iran's nuclear threat as well. When you lie to cause a war your a murderer. Since George Killen was not a witness, since there were no witnesses at Chappaquidick, you can just as easily say Killen was a political hack as easily as you righties say Joe Wilson was a hack. Except Joe Wilson was a Republican.

Azooka1234 4 years ago

The Democrats call our troops nazis, murderers, and terrorists (after voting to send them there). They give the Iraqis the impression we are going to abandon them (like Bush Sr. did) so they stop offering assistance to our troops for fear of retribution after we leave. They make idiotic statements about how Iraq was more humane under Saddam's murderers and rapists. The terrorists regularly quote statements from the democrats in their propaganda. Who are the traitors?
omcx1 4 years ago
The traitors are those who turn their backs on our civil liberties deny us our first amendment rights. Voltaire once said, "I may not agree with what you say, but will defend to my death your right to say it." That is the American way, the founding principle of free speech, and if you want to deny the left the right to call Bush and co. murderers, terrorists and nazi's, regardless to whether you agree with them, then you are a traitor too! You cannot opress free speech! THIS IS AMERICA!

If I want to listen to a murderer, I'll watch the next OJ trial, not Congress.

Would you listen to God, the greatest murderer of all time?

patsagainstrats 4 years ago
...your oj shit fell flat. you are a dipshit. go play in traffic...and it's Senator...from the Senate..our congress, usually refers to the house of Rep...even though both are congresses, there is a distinction that your IQ will never grasp.

If its the first time you've agreed than you must be a real piece of work. I guess you agree with Bush 99% of the time. Sad.

Intrusive big government business as usual.
omcx1 4 years ago
people are just unaware, and bush has defaced the republican party giving so called democrats are inability to even LISTEN to you talk about a republican candidate, even if its ron paul. its so stupid, people are so stubborn about politics, its become offensive to bring it up to people.

People are stupid and love to remain so.
twopotatoesonecarrot 4 years ago
Up here near D.C. it is the more educated people, whos minds were polluted by leftist crap in college, who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to the Constitution.
omcx1 4 years ago
When it comes to constitutional issues the republicans and democrats are just opposite sides of the same crooked fence and they are both laughing at everyone who stays focused on left against right, liberal against conservative (Bush IS NOT a conservative), because it keeps you too busy to notice what they are all doing together to destroy our rights and sovereignty. Kennedy is among the worst offenders and here you all are praising him because he "attacks" Bush. Start paying attention.

DEMAND the CONSTITUTION be PRESERVED, PROTECTED, and DEFENDED as these congressmen, senators, and this president have SWORN to do!
I DEMAND IT!

Too bad most Americans are too ignorant about what is going on in today's America that they will allow themselves to be used. Bush should've been impeached by now...
dablitzballer 4 years ago 7
How do I go about impeaching bush? I'd love to do it.
armandfishman 4 years ago
It will never happen for the same reason that Clinton was not impeached for committing a felony. Both sides have so much to hide from us that they have to cooperate on some basic level to keep the whole charade going.

Bush wants to have a Republican Camelot, but fortunately there's one Kennedy who's not having it. Bravo, Senator!

Bravo Kennedy, Dodd.
This is the direction we must continue.

"Now the governement is spying on EVERY citizen, but no one seesm to care."
That is the BIG problem in Amerika: not enough of you YET care enuff to DO something.
It is encouraging to see fewer and fewer right wing wignuts, replying to, and squawking, videos like this with their deluded bullshit.
If they're finally getting the kool-aid out and seeing Bush Co. for what it is, maybe USA, and the world, has a shot!
ROOKTABULA 4 years ago 2

This is just proof we live in a banana republic.
FUCK YOU NSA AND FUCK YOU DUMBYA!
Kennedy did a great job spelling out what this is all about, tyranny like we've never seen. America was a great country at one time, America is now over!

Watergate was about bugging a hotel room. Now the governement is spying on EVERY citizen, but no one seesm to care.

The USA has abandoned what made it great: the rule of law: laws equal for ALL men and women.
Now you have a president that's not only an asshole, he's a liar and the #1 lawbreaker. And the American people don't even seem to care.
Don't be surprised the rest of the world no longer supports or believes in you. You're as bad as any other regime now.
expatted 4 years ago 5
Ted Kennedy is a scoundrel, but a scoundrel who consistently fights for justice, and, for that, i applaud him. Shame on the senate for, save a handful of progressives, consistently giving the administration the ability to act as it pleases when it pleases without the threat of reprecission. Oh, and a shout out to the NSA who is undoubtedly reading this; heckuva job, assholes.
