Charlie Brooker's comment about British vs. American presenters rings true: "they all look so happy and relaxed! when our presenters try to look relaxed they just look awkward, like they've accidentally shat themselves."

I prefer American presenters for comedy, awards ceremonies and the like, because they're more natural and laid-back, and English ones for interviews because they're more interesting.
