  • the origin of Darth Vader!

  • the best mucical movie ever !!! Paul William's best music. jose from boston.

  • Remember when Brian DePalma made good movies? Now it's just convoluted and over blown junk. Raising Cane was hysterical.

  • Why the picture is reverse?

  • @smsuikup Evasion of copyright infringement. Don't tell anyone!

  • now we're in business. Together. Forever.

  • Phoenix!!!! Phoenix!!!!

  • Winslow sounds awesome all distorted

  • love that 70's sex groove!

  • Winslow as the phantom is the coolest fucking character ever.

  • I wish I have the Tonto Synth;-)

  • Tks I linked a stoy to it from my blog.

    It´s mirrored. Nice touch.

  • God I love Jessica Harper.

  • I like how the music actually describes both Swan and Winslow.

  • lol, I love how Winslow looks the wrong direction at 8:00. Swan snuck on on his blind side, lol. It's just done so well.

  • when winslow is playing piano in the studio scene; does anyone else notice that winslow's mouth and silver teeth look exactly like Marilyn Manson's??? I'm just sayin', it looks like 'ol Marilyn copied it to a "T"

  • "That's a transportation clause", roflmao

  • I love the song on 04:40 - 06:14!

  • 9:27 Inspiration for The Simpsons' Mr. Burns, perhaps?

  • My god, this is astounding! why have i never heard of this movie before?!

  • Thanks for posting the series, wonderful memories :-)

  • Well it's obvious how Winslow's face got dissfigured ( the record press ) but I'm still not sure how his voice got distorted? Anybody els, .. am I missing it perhaps ?

  • @Skulldini What I want to know is why Winslow is wearing makeup.

  • @MrWezlum18 He might've found that in the wardrobe room along with the helmet and costume.

  • @Skulldini My theory is that his vocal chords were crushed in the press as well.

  • @Skulldini

He was shot in the throat. The scene was cut out.

  • @RussianPhantom24601 Actually he was shot in the stomach. If you watch the deleted scenes on the Swan Archives website, you can see Winslow coming out of the record press. His throat is clearly crushed by the press and as he stumbles out toward the guard, the guard shoots him in the gut. It's actually pretty gory and that is why they cut it out of the final release.

  • Is Swan the devil? O.O;

  • @Twilightfey He is the Devil's pawn...

  • so i just realised there is this bird motif in this movie. the phantom's mask is like abird. Swan, Phoenix, dead bird records. the most hilarious thing. Paul WIlliams is the Penguin in the Batman cartoon from the 90s where despite being a psychopath and criminal, he was actually nicer than he is here. evil fuck

  • I always loved how badly the band sucked until Phoenix was up.

  • @vprods It sounds to me like the band was actualy there playing on the set when that first chick sang ( before "Next!" ). Then during Pheonix's performance a studio recording was used.

  • Why does Swan look like a grown-up version of Cousin Oliver from "The Brady Bunch?"

  • Wow! that thing was Darh Vader´s voice module prototype!

  • Rocky Horror Show is bogus--this is the real deal

  • if only techno was popular back then. Winslow wouldnt have had to sign that contract and he could have made his own music company!

  • Then paul williams invented autotune..........hahaha!!!

  • @k3cho2009 LOL your right

even if he did it would be hard to hate the guy i mean how can anyone say no to that face

  • @k3cho2009

    sure seems like it

  • A left handed phantom? Never thought I'd see the day!

  • @9theAwfulbet He's right handed. The video is mirrored.

  • SPLAT!! ..."Ink is no good to me!" ( he ominously intones ) .

  • they should make this into a play or something anyone agree

  • @ThunderX19 Yes only if they do it exactly like the movie. I am a firm believer if it is not broke than don't try to fix it. And as we know P.O.T.P. is not broke

I would never let my personal desires influence my aesthetic judgement.

    Wh-What does that mean?

It means I think your terrific.

  • @ThunderX19 uh no.

  • @acrovader i dont mean the kind where they sing is half of the play i just mean like in the movie but thats your opinion and i respect it

  • I'll rewrite my cantata.......But you best play what I write!

    ---PHANTOM

  • @clintbronson5 and now were in business together, forever...

  • @ThunderX19 As long as it sounds good nobody is going to care what it's about.

    Is that so!

    Nobody cares what anything's about.

    Is that right!

  • @clintbronson5 dry up tubbo!!

  • Lol she cant dance but she sure sings pretty

  • @DeadJesus100 It looked more like fighting than danceing.

  • this film explains what happens when you sell your soul in the music bizz

  • Swan..is nothing but a liar, evil, two-face, back stapping snake!!, don't trust him winslow don't sign the contract.

  • @wildmann23 swan gets so much pussy

  • it would be neat to have a voice box like that even if your voice sounded distorted

  • Now we are in bussines , together , FOREVER .

  • The party of the first part, gives the party of the second part, and his associates full power to do with him at their pleasure, to rule, to send, to fetch or carry him or his be it either, body, sou,l flesh, blood or goods.

  • yeah,my point is he sounded like george harrison from 5:27-5:30. that's all.

  • marlyn manson? :D

  • @emaan132 omg glad im not the only one who thought that XD

  • @IrishZombie77 MM had to have something to start with. Now we found where he got some major inspiration.

  • 5:27-5:30 george harrison?!

  • phoenix is kool

  • This chick is in Susperia.

  • Ha Swan saying Excellent..sounds like Mr Burns in the Simpsons

  • Dude, looks like a short David Cassidy. I keep expecting him to start singing Partridge Family songs.

  • @MrJtr75 Their voices sound somewhat similar too.

  • you'd figure the signing in blood would have been a red flag to Winslow, but...

  • Paul Williams gave him his own voice!

  • I don't know, as cool as the Phantom is, and as much as I like this movie, he comes off as a bit of a chump.

  • @revseth True, but as long he doesn't realize it you're alright. When he does, run. He carries a major grunge.

  • she has a really beautiful voice.
