I acutally remember this skit when i was skit. i don't think i saw more than a few times. so i guess Fat Blue is a doctor.wow .i really don't like the bert and ernie skit they show today.. they used clay figures now. i will always love the puppets they never get old. I don't believe that's Mr. Johnson. He has a slightly reddish mustache and hair, while the doctor's are a firm shade of brown. And even if it is the same puppet, I don't think it's meant to be the same guy.

How about that! Now we finally know what Fat Blue does for a living. He's a Doctor! You'd think he'd be able to afford a live in maid instead of always having to go out to eat and put up with Grover.

I think he wanted a fancier place to eat and wants to go to Charley's instead, I have a clip on tape where he (Dr Johnson {Mr. Fat Blue}) goes to Hooper's store, and just before he came in Bob was talking to Gina deciding what he wants for lunch, he came in and said "I know what I want, I want a cheeseburger, don't bring me anything else, don't drop it, dont spill it just a cheesburger!" Then Gina said "All right I will get you a cheeseburger, please don't get angry!"

He actually did go to Mr. Hoopers in one Episode, and Gina comforted him after all the abuse from Grover. However Grover called him on the phone while he was there and told him how much he missed Fat Blue, and Fat Blue was so touched that he left Mr. Hoopers and went to Charlies. And you can figure out what happened after that.
