I used to love watching the skaters on here. They reminded me of The June Taylor Dancers on "The Jackie Gleaason Show" when they did the kaleidoscope-like shot.

Too bad this type of show wouldn't make it now due to budget restraints. They were always good, wholesome entertainment. This included all variety shows, not just D & M.

I used to watch this show religiously with my parents every week -- amazing to think that every week, they put together a big production number like this. Is there any performer out there today who could draw an audience for a weekly variety show like this?
