the thing is that people leave rude comments cause really there shouldn't ever be a reason to leave a comment about someone doing a cover of a dave song. they are only made for that band. other bands have their songs covered cause they have made a great song that can be made into different versions. Dave has an invisible patent on his songs no one can touch. I'm sorry for anyone who tries but it just won't work.

A very good cover. You guys definitely capture the groove. Vocally, the issue is not of talent: the frontman can sing, it's just that you can tell he sings in a style more conducive to gospel. Dave sings more...well....like Dave. No one else sounds like him.

Yes, Dave obviously has some different ideals and thoughts on religion, etc. than any Christian church, but to say they are stupid for playing it is ridiculous. Watch DMB's Storytellers, Dave talked about how once music is out there, it's open to anyone's interpretation, not just his.

Thanks for your comment. The drum shield helps other musicians and vocalists not to be deafened by the drummer's volume. We don't use it all the time, but in this particular service we had a choir in front of the kit on a couple of songs and needed to use it.
